This is my edited SH2 - Universal Core ENB preset.
It's still 90% base SH2 Universal, with a few things changed.
Added the DoF + AO from Pi-Cho ENB, with AO value halved.
Bunch of other edits I really can't remember; tweaked over 2 months of gaming.
Installation Instructions:
- Install Silent Horizons 2 - Universal Core and all of its hard requirements.
- Overwrite the above files with mine.
- (Optional) Delete all files in the ENBCache folder.
- Done!
Performance hit
It will be harder than SH2 - Universal Core because of DOF;
you can turn DOF off in the Effects window and get the exact same performance as SH2 - U.
Changes from base SH2:
- Lowered ENB interior fog.
- Less colorful, clearer water. (works with Water for ENB or Simplicty of Sea)
- Interior and Night exposure adjustments. (under HDR)
- ENB Rain turned off; uses the rain droplets from your weather mod.
- Very dark nights (with Azurite II), comparable to Raid Weathers. Torches recommended.
- Fixes bright waterfall / foam particles at night.
- Fixes water LOD seam + reflection issues if you use Simplicity of Sea.
- Fixes overly reflective eyes when eyecubemap.dds is switched to an ENB Dynamic Cubemap.
- Few other little tiny tweaks that I lost track of.
Imported from Pi-Cho ENB:
- Depth of Field + AO (Marty McFly, adjusted AO amount)
- Skin Subsurface Scattering values
Supports:
- All ENB Dynamic Cubemaps
- Dynamic Cubemaps for Eyes (values have been edited to tune the reflection level)
- Complex Grass
- Complex Terrain*
- Complex Material*
- ENB Terrain Blending (get the fix here)
*Use Parallaxgen to generate meshes to support your downloaded parallax / complex parallax textures.
Also get Auto Parallax, install it and DO NOT TOUCH THE INI FILE.
Weather?
Screenshots and video were taken with Azurite Weathers II. (default ingame settings)
As I did not make any weather specific edits, this preset is still considered rather universal.
Just edit Color Grading > HDR> Exposure (in EVs) / Contrast settings in the FX Shaders window if things are too bright or dark.

FAQ:
Q: My nights are too dark!
A: Adjust the HDR Exposure / Contrast values for Night. (Extender window). See spoiler tag above.
Q: What if I don't use complex material / parallax?
A: Parallax does not activate without the correct texture / meshes, so you just see the non-parallaxed version.
If you're unsure, install Auto Parallax and leave it be. It just works.
Q: What if I don't use Dynamic Cubemaps?
A: Just copy the entire [EYE] section from base SH2 - Universal's enbseries.ini file and replace my [EYE] section, then set DynamicCubemap to 'false' in the enbseries.ini.
Q: I don't like 11 of your changes.
A: Change the values in the ENB Helper window (you can try asking for help in the comments), or use another preset.
Q: Where are all your iconic buttshots?
A: Sir, this is a SFW mod page (for once). Look in my uploaded images section or newer mod releases for those. They are all entirely taken using this modified SH2 preset only, without edits.

- Basegame TAA on, ENB TAA Deblur on
- All skin subsurface textures disabled (_sk.dds textures changed to black)
- DLAA mod installed, max quality
- 1440p native (no upscale)
