About this mod
This is a mod I made to memorialize my late dog, Miggy. I initially made it for myself, but I thought I'd release it to the public.

BACKGROUND
On December 31, 2024, my childhood dog Miggy passed away after a battle with a brain tumor. He was a wonderful companion and friend, and the loss hit my family very hard. I decided that I needed to immortalize him in some way, and it then occurred to me to turn him into a Skyrim companion.DETAILS
Miggy can be found in Riverwood right from the beginning of the game. He is flagged as essential and invulnerable, so he cannot die nor take damage. (His damage output isn't particularly great, to compensate for this.) Upon recruiting him, you'll receive a lesser power to summon him at your will, so you won't lose track of him. He can be told to wait completely in place, or to sandbox around the current location.
QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Q: Why is the dialogue so unserious? Nobody in the game talks like this!
A: The dialogue was written based on things that my family used to say when we were petting him.
Q: Can I have Miggy in addition to another follower?
A: You should be able to, yeah. I scripted his behavior from scratch, so he shouldn't interact with the default follower system. I tested with a vanilla hireable follower and they were both able to follow me with no issues.
CLOSING
This mod was made as a grieving outlet, first and foremost. If there are any bugs, I'll do what I can to address them, though everything is so simple that I don't really foresee this being a problem. However, I probably won't be responding to feature requests or anything, because I'm already satisfied with its scope and don't see the need for it to be expanded.CREDITS
