Cursed Crypts is a supplemental addon for the amazing Modern Lighting Overhaul It makes Nordic dungeons spooky and magical to explore, swapping the plain old orange flames with blue ones. Optionally disables orange candle lights for a truly pitch-dark experience. Utilizing Base Object Swapper this mod is truly ESP-less, and virtually conflict-free.
Lore
It did not make sense to us that the flames would stay lit long after these structures were inhabited. Made less sense (from a practical stance) that the flames would be permanently extinguished. The best explanation for a light source, would be a magical fire akin to the magic that keeps the draugr alive. So... Blue flames.
Step one: Install Base Object Swapper
Step two: Install Modern Lighting Overhaul
Step three: Install this mod
Step four: Bring a torch ;)
Nordic ruins retextures:
Temples of the Ancients (I use this, with the no glyphs option)

Embers XD (Use any of the flames options, it is preference. They all look good.)

Q: "Doesn't Eternal Flames already do this?"
A: Yes, but it is no longer being maintained. The functionality of that mod was rolled into LP Overhaul. Requiring CS. Cursed Crypts is compatible with CS, or ENB.
