About this mod
A small mod that aims to change the vanilla gold prices to more realistic levels so that the gold stays meaningful in the late game.

When I can do a few fetch quests and can use that earning (if you include selling the loot) to buy a house in the city, that's when I tend to lose interest in my playthrough. Suddenly, nothing feels valuable. Buying a house should feel like a rewarding experience, not just another grocery run. Well, no more..
This mod aims to rectify that by increasing the prices of items and services purchased through dialogue to more realistic levels.
Houses, hearthfire plots, house furniture upgrades, horses, inn rooms, carriages, and mercenaries are covered.
Houses:
Breezehome in Whiterun: 25,000
Honeyside in Riften: 50,000
Vlindrel Hall in Markart: 50,000
Hjerim in Windhelm: 75,000
Proudspire Manor in Solitude: 100,000
CC Tundra Homestead: 35,000
*still the most expensive option in Whiterun
Hearthfire Plots: 50,000
House Renovation Upgrades: 3-4 times the original price. Follows the hierarchy of my house prices.
Horse: 4,000
Services:
Carriage Main City: 200
Carriage Far/Unsafe Areas: 300
Ferry Main: 200
Ferry Far: 350
Hireling: 2,500
Inn Room Rental: 50
This mod comes as an All in One file but also as separate modules if for some reason you don't want all the changes or use a mod that already covers some of the changes. Use the AIO or the separate modules, not both.
I have made a mod that overhauls Fines in the same fashion: Immersive Realistic Fines
Bounties: The goal of the mod is to make gold relevant so it makes no sense to increase the bounties as they are already balanced considering my changes. However, if you wish to change them, Missives with Headhunter (a combo that I fully recommend) allows you to tweak bounty values in its MCM.
This mod does not change the values of items that can be purchased from vendors (armors, weapons, spells etc) as there are many larger mods that deal with those items.
I know other mods exist that accomplish the same but none fit my vision so I made this. It was sitting in my load order for a long time and now I have decided to share it.
