About this mod

Don't you find it strange that as the Relic Hunter for the Dragonborn Museum, you can purchase paintings from various vendors or find them among some bandits loot, but cannot take those hanging up in Belethor's shop or the Thalmor Embassy? Well that is about to change!

Unofficial Legacy addon

Hello fellow Relic Hunters! Like many of you, I play and enjoy Legacy of the Dragonborn and have an extensive collection of mods catered towards it. Among them are mods like Snazzy Furniture and Clutter Overhaul, which adds beautiful paintings to the game. These are found hanging in houses and shops, or even laying among bandit loot. But you cannot take them for display in the Museum!

With the power of Base Object Swapper, you can complete your collection faster or amass some spending gold with Art Thief!

What does this do?
This mod replaces all paintings added to the game by Snazzy Furniture and Clutter Overhaul with lootable versions that will give you a painting item for display in the Dragonborn Gallery, or sold for profit. Warning! The paintings looted will disappear, never to respawn.
Currently only SFCO and any of its location addons are supported.

Requirements
Base Object Swapper (and it's dependencies)
Legacy of the Dragonborn
Snazzy Furniture and Clutter Overhaul

Installation
Art Thief is packaged in a FOMOD with three painting replacement options.
Plunderer: Only swaps paintings found in hostile zones to be looted. (Recommended)
Burglarer: Adds dwellings and shops (Less recommended, unless this fits your role play)
Kleptomaniac: Includes castles, guild halls, and temples. Everything unrestricted. (Hey, I don't know what your are going to do with that many paintings, and I don't want to know)
I use Mod Organizer 2, I do not know if the FOMOD works with other programs.

Known Issues
Some paintings can only be interacted with on the very edge of the frame. Depending on where it is located and what other objects are around it, it may not be lootable without toggling collision in the console. Mods like Better Third Person Selection may help in some locations, but not all. SFCO adds over 500 paintings in it's base install alone, not including additional locations. So there are plenty to loot anyway. Adjusting individual painting positions is beyond the scope of this simple BOS mod, and would then require many patches.

This is not an officially endorsed Legacy addon, do not contact the Legacy team for any issues with Art Thief.
