This mod adds a small exterior cell player home just to the southeast of Glenmoril Coven in Falkreath, a small camp at Archer's Perch east of the bandit camp at Knifepoint Ridge, a treehouse shelter at the pond just west of Tolvald's Cave, the same shelter is repeated on Fisherman's Island on Lake Ilinalta, and another shelter on the mountain between Riften and Forelhost. All can be reached without console commands, but some jumping up hills and rocks will be required for 2 of the shelters.
The treehouse near Glenmoril Coven is intended to be a Player Home. It is small, but has lots of storage, all of which do not respawn. I've kept them Lore friendly. The back story is that they were built by a former member of The Blades to hide in and lead the quiet life. The main tree house and 4 of the tree shelters have crafting, a pot to cook food on. At the base of the tree house there is a small dam / pond, and several crafting ingredient plants. I'm really proud of the work on the main house. Small, humble, but highly functional and ideal as a player home for people that want something simple, and who are on the road a lot. It took me 2 days to crete this mod. Most of the work was done in the first 6 hours, but then came the perfecting. Often making little changes, saving the game, loading it into Skyrim, checking on things (curse floating plants, buckets and airbourne mushrooms), fixing stuff and repeating the process. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so I put a lot of time and effort into my mods.
The other three shelters are very basic, but have 3 non spawning containers to store things. They're good locations to camp, especially if you play "survival mode" style where you do hunt, cook and sleep normally.
I created Version 1.2 of the mod that adds 2 more containers to the Secret Tiny Home treehouse, taking it to a total of 10 containers. If you're a bird watcher, you'll also love seeing the birds of prey flying to and from their nests in nearby trees.
Version also 1.2 makes the Fisherman's Island on Lake Ilinalta treehouse a bit more of a player home with a fireplace and cooking pot, some food items and books to read. It also increases the storage containers to 5 with the addition of a strong box and small sack. Again, ideal for survival mode. I'm open to suggestions for basic changes to make it more of a home. 1.2 also adds some food to the Tolvald Lookout which you can cook at the campfire at ground level.
Version 1.3 modifies the main tree house to be a bit more me, with new carpet, nicer clothes and a better bed.
Version 1.4 adds another small tree house just outside of Whiterun in a small group of trees to the west. See screenshots for the location. I could not post a map.
Note that if you have Whiterun Valley - Hold Expansion mod installed, and you use the M key to bring up the map at this location it will crash the game. That's a bug with that mod, not my mod.
Version 1.5adds everything above, and a door to the main tree house (to keep the cold out), and crafting options including an anvil, grindstone, workbench and tanning rack. So it's more functional but slightly less Lore friendly.
I created this mod because I've been reading "My side of the Mountain" by Jean Craighead George and I desired a quiet, peaceful place to get away from people. I envisage this as a home for players who are tired of fighting dragons and just want to chill out.
The mod requires the standard game and 5 main DLCs. I'm not aware of any other mods in these areas, so there probably won't be conflicts with other mods.
I run Skyrim Flora Overhaul SE with all of my mods and test them with it running.
Known bug: I added books "My side of the Mountain" , "Call of the Wild" and "The Walden" to the mod, but they don't display properly, probably due to too much text. I left them in anyway. These books can be obtained for free at Project Gutenberg. https://www.gutenberg.org/
Finally, I do not make one off custom changes to my mods to suit 1 person. Happy to make changes for the masses if people ask politely.
