About this mod
Adds a new solitary cell to the Abandoned Prison, where you may find yourself trapped after miraculously surviving the flood that sealed the fate of your fellow prisoners. Addon for Scrabx3's Alternate Perspective.

This is an addon for Scrabx3's Alternate Perspective Version 4.0 and above.
Select the "Abandoned Prisoner" option to begin.
Abandoned Prison
Abandoned Prison Start, as the name might imply, lets you start your game in the Abandoned Prison. This is an adaptation of the default start from Alternate Start - Live Another Life. The jailcell you will find yourself in is based on the same unused structure as the one featured in ASLAL, but besides the concept, no part of that mod was used to create this mod. It does have a shrine to Mara as a reference to the statue used by ASLAL, however.
As for how you survived the flooding... The new cell is raised compared to the main cellblock, so with a bit of luck and maybe some divine intervention, you were able to ride out the flood without getting waterlogged. Or maybe you locked yourself in by accident while looting the place!
Your only challenge now is getting past the ghosts alive. Maybe that scroll can help you with that.
As with Alternate Perspective's normal scenarios, you can start the main quest.
If you choose not to use the start option, the new cell will still be there. There's no reason for it not to be.
Requirements
Technically, nothing, but this mod is intended to be used with Alternate Perspective, and does almost nothing without it.
If your Skyrim version is prior to 1.6.1130, it will require Backport Extended ESL Support.

Well, that's unfortunate. Maybe the mod images contain a clue to your salvation. - What was that you meant by an unused structure?
It turns out the Abandoned Prison cell has an unused room floating in the void, not far behind where the new cell is, which is the room that Alternate Start - Live Another Life repurposes into its starting cell. I hadn't realized until I started making this mod. Personally, I felt it was a bit spacious, so I made my version more cramped. - Realm of Lorkhan patch?
Considering this. The plugin doesn't list Alternate Perspective as a master, so it would be easy to make. Someone else might do so before I get around to it. - Alternate Start: Live Another Life patch?
