This mod adds the Crown of Effulgence. It serves as a wearable lantern on your head.

Go to Whiterun and talk to Belethor. He sells all crowns.
Item Nomenclature
B - Black
G - Gold
S - Silver
[Light] - summons a light when equipped
(A) - Argonian
(K) - Khajiit
You can forge them anywhere in Skyrim.
Black - 1 Ebony ingot
Gold - 1 Gold ingot
Silver - 1 Silver ingot
No perk required.
* If you have CID, all general goods stores in Skyrim will sell it. Make sure you have all the requirements, and CID ini file in the mod folder. (See the miscellaneous file)
It belongs to the clothing / jewelry category. The slot # is 60. You can wear on top of any armor or attire out there.
You can wear it on top of a helmet, if you want. I think it blends well with vanilla helmets regardless of clipping (if you like spikes xD).
Argonian and Khajiit races supported.
I added this to my favorites. So with a single press of a key, I get an instant light. I always use this in my playthroughs, so I wanted to share it with you. Enjoy!
Known issues

The crown can cause clipping because everyone's hair and head shape is so dramatically different.
I tried so hard to search for the middle ground.
