Immersive Start Option
I love adding new armor and robes to my game, but I often run into a few problems. Either:
1. The clothes cannot be acquired naturally in-game and can only be found in the console
2. The clothes CAN be found in-game, but it makes edits to vanilla records or world spaces, requiring a patch
3. The clothes are either too weak or too strong, so I have to sacrifice stats to continue wearing it during all stages of my playthrough.
The Immersive Start option solves these issues by allowing an immersive, highly compatible way to find these robes, as well as upgrade their enchantments throughout a playthrough.
Start the "quest" by finding a Daedra Heart. A dark entity will contact you with a bargain. You can choose to "accept" the quest or reject it permanently. If you accept, you will receive the mask and robes, and instructions to gather ingredients to make the enchantments stronger.

If you accept the bargain, you will be asked to hunt down human hearts for sacrifice. The mask will give you a spell "Trickster's Sacrifice" to complete the ritual. You can upgrade the enchantment multiple times.
If you already have Daedra Hearts or Human Hearts in your inventory when you install the mod, simply drop and pick up the hearts to trigger the quest conditions.
Enchantments
When using the Immersive Start version, the starter robes will come with enchantments fitting for a magical assassin.
- Mask: Grants the "Unnatural Sight" spell. Concentrate to see the living and the dead (Similar to Detect Life and Detect Dead).
- Hood: Fortify Magicka
- Gloves: Fortify Destruction & Magicka Regeneration
- Chest: Fortify Illusion & Magicka Regeneration
- Boots: Fortify Sneak
Unenchanted versions can be found via the console.
Compatibility
Does not alter any vanilla records.
The "Immersive Start" version adds a compatibility-friendly quest that should be safe to add to any mod list. Requires only the ability to find "vanilla" Daedric hearts and human hearts in the world, but otherwise does not alter anything, not even the hearts themselves. Any vanilla heart will do, even those added via the console. I made the Immersive Start version to be as compatible as possible, able to be added to any modlist.
Enchantments used are base enchantments, so if you're playing a list which uses a mod like Requiem, which rebalances enchantments, the enchantments should match what you would expect from those mods.
