About this mod

This mod allows you to use the strengths of several tree and plant mods to get the best possible flora you can actually get this days.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Nexus offers an impressive selection of mods that change the models of your trees and other plants. Some of them look rather modest and mediocre, but there are a number of very high-quality mods that offer stunning models. At the same time, some mods do not offer the necessary variety, while others include models that you would like to replace with others. A special place in the list is occupied by Nature of the Wild Lands that completely changes your flora, since it not only changes the tree models, but also completely changes the configuration of all plants, their number and placement.
Not using this mod is practically a crime, as the quality of the models and their variety are simply outrageous. At the same time, there was certain features in this mod that made me think about changing the way it works and making it work with some other mods together.
When the developers made Skyrim, their tools were very limited, but they placed the trees in this game very well. Wherever you are, you almost always have dense groups of trees, deserted places and lonely trees on your screen. Considering the terrible trees in the original game, this is not so noticeable, but with the right models, such a design creates a sense of space, a lot of interesting compositions, a play of light and shadow. I wanted to bring this effects back, because the forests with Nature of the Wild Lands, due to the number of trees placed and their size, have lost all these advantages. In my opinion, they look absolutely realistic, but boring.

So. On this page you will find a tutorial that contains number of mods that offeres you the most beautiful assets and models for Skyrim you can actually find and my NotWL.esp replacer that will allow you to use all that stuff together.
   Features:
- My plugin does not place new trees. You will have only vanilla-placed trees in your game.
- This plugin does not replace some models original NotWL does. It has been specially adjusted to work together with Happy Little TreesAspens Ablaze and few other plants mods.
- This plugin still places all unique static (rocks, stumps, branches, etc) just as original NotWL plugin.
- You will have a set of perfectly combined, different models from the three best mods, as well as several chic models from other separate mods.
- This will give you back the vast coniferous forests with old large trees and give you incredibly colorful forests in the Rift. Combined with good weather mods, you get an atmospheric, contrasting forest, not overloaded with objects and with a bunch of gorgeous views and compositions.

This mod does not place any new trees. Also, i never saw any static objects placed by this the original NotWL too close to any settlements or other places that could be changed by any existing mods. This means that there is a 99% chance that any mods on your list that require a patch for the original Nature of the Wild Lands DO NOT NEED a patch to work with my plugin replacer. This means that not only do you not need the patch, you SHOULD NOT install it, because it will try to move or disable objects that are not in my plugin. Sooner or later this will cause CTD's.

List of mods I used in this mashup for working together, you should install them all during the process:
Happy Little Trees (These majestic firs need no introduction.)
Aspens Ablaze (Incredibly colorful, fabulous in the right measure and very high-quality aspens. Landscapes with these aspens are the most interesting.)
- Enchanced Vanilla - Tundra Driftwoods (Ugly dead trees now look good while maintaining their shape and size, which avoids a huge number of collision and design problems coming with NotWL assets for this tree and its fallen version)
- Cathedral - 3D Pine Shrubs ( fits better then NotWL one's)
- Cathedral - 3D Thicket and Dead Shrub (dead shrubs are actually dead and looks noticeble and interesting amoung other plants)
- Cathedral - 3D Tundra Shrubs  (you will have 2 diffrend types of shrubs in the game, this ones and NotWL's. Both types are great.)
- Thicket replacer with Nettle (beautiful thicket option, overwrite 3d thicket and dead shrub with this one)
G.I.R.T.H.  (Gildegreen replacer, fits to its place better then one coming with NotWL, replace everything inluding NotWL while installation)
Diverse Downed Logs - Base Object Swapper (My .esp replacer use HLT assets for logs and some stumps, because they fits better, this mod provides diversity and additional details for it).
- Fancy Sleeping Tree Replacer (interesting, elegant, "magic" asset)
- Few mods to get cool unique Nirnroot, install in order:
   1. A Nimroot
   2. Install option file from the same page: "A Nirnroot - Animated Glow"
   3. A Nirnroot - Animated Particle Light Patch
   4. Optional file from the same page: "Paused Nirnroot Loop Plugin"
Dont forget about the requirements.
You can optionally install:
- 3D Lods for Happy Little Trees (high-quality LODs for HLT assets using in this mashup)
- 3D Lods for Aspens Ablaze (high-quality LODs for Aspens Ablaze assets using in this mashup)
- Animations Addon for Nature of the Wild Lands and Aspens Ablaze. (Main files section) (The trees are now swaying in the wind, no performence hit)

COMPABILITY AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- All models from the original NotWL i keep in this .esp should be compatible with seasons. The compatibility of all other models will depend on seasons-compability of mods those models coming from. For example, Original Aspens Ablaze doesn't compatible, but there is another version on Nexus that is fully compatible, but that version can have compability problems with animations addos. I don't use seasons myself for a number of reasons and haven't tested the list of mods I use for compatibility. Feel free to test them together and change anything you need to. But remember that this mashup wasn't created to work with Seasons of Skyrim.
Nature of the Wild Lands.esp should be loaded AFTER Happy Little Trees and Aspens Ablaze.

Installation Tutorial:

1. Install Happy Little Trees (Pines only + Treescale.esp)
2. Install Aspens Ablaze (Regular size, autumn option. Bigger trees merge into a heap and will cost a lot of performence).
3. Manually download Nature of the Wild Lands, delete few files from it (list is in the sticky post in the comment section). Install it (Only Autumn Rift option, you dont need anything else).
4. Install this .esp replacer.
5. Install rest mods from the list (can be done in any time, before or after tree mods).
6. Change size of some of your trees. Use "Apply Script" on a treescale.esp plugin via xedit to make some of your pine and spruce models bigger. Tutorial. For me the multipplier is 1.55. You can always make your trees bigger or smaller depending on your tastes. Every multiplier works for existing numbers. For example. Treescale.esp already have 120% bigger trees. After applying new multiplier (1.65, for example), you will get 120%x1.65 = almost 200%. If you want to make 120% again, your next number for the script should be 0.6 (120\200 = 0.6). If you just want to make them a bit bigger or smaller, you will need smth like 1.1 or 0.9. You got it.

7. (Optional) Install 3D Lods for Happy Little Trees.
8. (Optional) Install 3D Lods for Aspens Ablaze
9. (Optional) Install NotWL - Aspens Ablaze - Animations Addon (Main files section).

Prerformance hit is somewhere between HLT and original NotWL in pine forests zones and identical to Aspen Ablaze in Rift zone.

Also, as you could alrready understand, there are many unused assets from NotWL mod that no longer in the world. This mashup is my base for upcoming overhaul mods for cities and some other locations. I will bring back those assets in those mods, working with them atm.
