About this mod

Standalone dark armor set for female and male characters using CBBE and The New Gentleman. Doesn’t replace vanilla gear. Craftable and temperable.
Due to the similarity in proportions, it may also work with other body types — though minor clipping or misalignment could occur.

Note

Visual appearance of Serana is from the mod Nihility Series – Serana Visual Overhaul by Disclova. Used for presentation purposes only.

This is my first work and my first dive into the Skyrim engine.
I made it with the intention of wearing it myself.
(Yeah right. Spend all this time making it — then go in-game and wear something else? Of course.)
I did my best to push my skills as far as I could at this stage.
But everything has its limits.
There may be minor rigging issues — I did try to fix them and spent more than a day on it, literally.
Some things, unfortunately, remained. And yes — my work isn’t perfect. I made mistakes.
The wheel with five spokes rolls uphill only to fall back down into the abyss.
And that’s okay. What matters is — it’s still rolling.

I'm considering adding a weapon to the mod, as well as adapting the armor for male characters. However, at the moment I don't have a clear concept of how it should look. So I'm not making any promises — just sharing a thought I might return to later.
