About this mod
A very simple mod that removes footwear from prisoner clothes and/or beggar clothes.
- Permissions and credits
This is a simple mod that removes footwraps from prisoner clothes in the game, as well as ragged boots from beggar clothes. If you go to jail, you'll end up barefoot. If you meet a beggar in the game, they will be barefoot as well.
The whole thing is done by removing:
- [Footwraps] item from [Prisoner Outfit] set, so whenever the game provides the Player or an NPC with that outfit, they won't have footwraps in their inventory.
- [Ragged Boots] item from [Beggar Outfit] set, so if the Player or an NPC is provided with that outfit, they won't have ragged boots in their inventory.
There's one exception: if someone is wearing a version of [Beggar Outfit] with a hat, they will still have boots. I figured that since they have a hat, they might have been fortunate enough to get some footwear too.
There are three files to choose:
- Barefoot Prisoner & Beggar Outfit.esp - if you want both outfits without footwear
- Barefoot Prisoner Outfit.esp - if you want only prisoner outfit without footwear
- Barefoot Beggar Outfit.esp - if you want only beggar outfit without footwear
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
I can't guarantee that this will always work. Some mods or game quests might provide Player or NPCs with just loose clothing items instead of the predefined outfit set. In that case, you might still have or see both footwear and the body clothing.
INSTALLATION:
Just install with your mod manager or extract the files into your game folder.
COMPATIBILITY:
Should be compatible with everything. However, as I said above, if any mod overwrites my changes for whatever reason, there will be a conflict. I find it highly unlikely though. Just in case, put it low in your load order.
