🧹 No More Pesky Dialogue Squares – Fix Them All in One Go!
Tired of mysterious little □ boxes showing up in your mod's dialogue? You’re not alone. Those cursed squares are caused by sneaky special characters—things like “fancy quotes,” smart apostrophes (’ vs '), or even the dreaded ellipsis (... vs …) that Word and Excel love to sneak in behind your back.
🎯 This script is your one-click cure.
It hunts down all those formatting gremlins and wipes them clean using SSEEdit. No more playing "Hide and Go Seek" through hundreds of dialogue lines. Just apply, run, done.
I made this out of necessity—my Ithelia mod had 165 of these suckers and Frea Reforged had 32 of the buggers. Fixed in seconds. I’ll be rolling it out other dialogue-heavy projects, and my new 2000+ line Vampire Awareness Mod featuring fully-voiced Serana lines by the amazing Kerstyn Unger.
My Mod Description from above alone would create 6 of these □'s. That is just how sneaky they are.
