I always loved the more lively word that extra animals and creatures mods provided (e.g. Skytest or Immersive Creatures). Unfornunately, I always faced compatibility issues with these mods, be it creatures near populated areas which needed patches or the addition of non vanilla objects (e.g. armors or ingredients) that needed more patches in order to play well with the various gameplay overhauls. In order to address this, I created this plugin for that places a few creatures in the wilderness where it makes sense with an emphasis on compatibility.
Features:
Animal and creature spawns in the wildrenss all over Skyrim and Solstheim. This includes:
- Enlarging some vanilla packs (e.g. wolf-packs, elk herds; 7000 steps troll has some buddies now)
- Animal placements where it felt empty/logical (e.g. near big bodies of water, more vanilla fauna spawns in Solstheim forests to make hunting more feasible, creepy enemies in Morthal Swamps)
- Adding some DLC animals were it makes sense (e.g. rieklings in Winterhold, and bristlebacks-boars in Eastmarch)
- Optional CC goblins integration.
No populated areas additions. No navmesh or landscape edits. Regional fauna is respected. No edits to the vanilla creatures.
Creatures will respawn using the vanilla respawn system with a few excpetions (e.g. if you complete the Goblin CC quest the local goblins will be exterminated forever).
Compatibility:
- It should be compatible with most location mods, since I mostly add actors and only a few environmental bits (e.g. corpses, fallen weapons, notes, etc.). Let me know if you find any incompatibilities.
- The optional CC goblin plugins are probably incompatible with mods that drastically edit the creation (e.g. Mihail's CC Goblins Overhaul); more testing is needed.
- Durzogs - Mihail Monsters and Animals: patch - esp replacer provided to sync app the mihail durzogs spawns with the goblins from my mod.
- It should be compatible with other creature spawn mods like Skytest and Immersive Creatures. It depend on how much chaos you want.
