Nadia Grimdottir resides in Markarth and serves some of her time
as a deputized guard to keep people from entering the Temple of Dibella
when certain rites are in progress.
Her father, Grim Karlsonn, was a soldier in the Stormcloak army
during the Markarth Incident before her birth. As the purge of Reachmen
escalated, Grim balked at the horrors of seeing family members
of those who had escaped being tortured and killed
to find their hiding places. He made a plan and left the city.
Nadia came along when Grim as a traveling exile met up with a bandit
woman, and talked her into joining him in a more legitimate
enterprise of being bards under pseudonyms. They were
secretly married by a Talos priest sympatheitc to their cause.
Nadia grew up seeing many places in Skyrim, but the stories of Markarth and it’shistory has currently drawn her back to stay there for a time.
As she has offered to help keep violence down from anyone in the city, regardless of their position, she was stationed at the inside entrance of the Temple to keep nosey peepers out and give the worshippers an added measure of peace.
