A fantasy, colorful, vibrant ReShade akin to a performance ENB (still much lighter on fps though), primarily for use with Cathedral Weathers and Azurite Weathers, but can be used with other weather mods.
I focused on giving Skyrim a colorful and three-dimensional look, with depth of field blurring, ambient occlusion, an alternative to subsurface scattering, plus some improvements on lighting effects.
I've been working on this for quite some time now, and I'm very happy with the result.
Using a laptop with a RTX 2060, Ryzen 5 4600H and 32 GB RAM, this preset ALWAYS stays at 60 FPS, whereas if I use Silent Horizons 2 Core I get drops to 45 in interiors and 35/37 in exteriors, even dropping to 27 in busier fights with more enemies.
I play with a relatively large party with physics and have a lot going on in terms of rendering during battles. This preset gives a look very aproximate from my favourite fantasy ENB presets without the performance drop or toll to the GPU. Basically it's tailored for my long playing sessions.
I don't use CS and don't plan to, my experiences with it were really lacking in terms of performance, plus ReShade lets me tailor game looks how I prefer them.
Requirements:
The only hard requirement is ReShade itself and its requirements, the rest are only recommendations.
The screenshots were taken in a game that has:
Cathedral Weathers, Azurite Weathers, Cathedral Luminosity, Ambiance - A Vanilla+ Lighting Overhaul and Enhanced Volumetric Lighting and Shadows, but I'd wager it works equally as well without all of these, maybe with my mod WeReLight it would work well, although you'd probably need to tweak saturation and brightness a bit. Textures from Skyland AiO Non-Parallax version.
Skyrim version 1.1597 (pre-Anniversary Edition).
