Simply use the default closest camera distance setting, which is highly optimized for controller users. This preset occupies Slot 6 in the preset menu, with no flashy extra keybindings required—it works seamlessly out of the box.
Suggested modification:
In the SSE Display Tweaks mod's INI file, change the following setting to (DisablePlayerFade=false). This adjustment will enable character fading when approaching buildings, preventing camera clipping issues where characters penetrate through structures.
