About this mod

The best accessory mod for Skyrim, now converted to SSE!

Requirements
Permissions and credits
I don't usually care for jewelery, which may be why I haven't noticed how few sse choices we have when it came to standalone stuff. Don't get me wrong, most of the mods I saw during my long search were stunning, but they didn't feel like they belonged in Skyrim. They were too fine and delicate, maybe something for a game set in the Summerset Isles or Elsweyr, not really something a rugged nord warrior would wear.

I finally stumbled upon cleanz0r's mod, well, upon a conversion/translation uploaded to the russian mod site ModGames.net. I was super stocked to find the og mod still here on the nexus, so I decided to make it sse compatible, even though I haven't done anything similar before. The original mod haven't been updated since 2014 and I was excited to reintroduce it to people. All the credits go to cleanz0r for the original mod and I'll remove this upload if they deem it necessary. The textures were optimized using Cathedral Asset Optimizer and meshes were fixed to sse using SSE Nif Optimizer.

MAIN CHANGES

Container Distribution Framework

The original leveled list alterations were removed, this mod now uses Container Distribution Framework to give these items to specific merchants. The sold items still depend on your level and the available materials are different from merchant to merchant. I tried to make them available to buy in each major city, I'll list the affected merchants in the posts section.

NOTE/WARNING - This feature needs more testing, as my test characters were all level 1 and couln't see the changes by level. This feature being broken won't break the rest of this mod or your saves, so don't worry. Though I referenced various other CDF based mods when writing mine, it's possible that it may not work as intended(I had and still have very little understanding of these features). Please let me know if it doesn't work properly, I'll look into it. I'll also remove this warning when I finally play the damn game and level up enough to see the changes working.

Spell Perk Item Distributor

SPID is required if you want to see the torcs worn by some specific NPCs. I tried to equip them in a way that made sense, mantaining the items' rarity. Of course, you can add or remove npcs from the equip list if you edit the DISTR.ini file. Note that you may not see some of the torcs if the worn armor covers amulets, you can simply ignore this, or use a wrye bash patch to flag all armor as amulet compatible.

OTHER CHANGES

- All torcs in this version are unarmored and use slot 35
- Dwarven and Elven torcs were renamed to Corundum and Moonstone respectively
- Crafting recipes were altered to require 2 ingots of the torcs material instead of 1 steel + 1 torc material ingot
- Crafting them now has perk requirements, you can remove them in xEdit if preferred
