About this mod
This mod replaces the gear of the penitus oculatus by the the blades armor set and weapon. THIS IS NOT A REPLACER OF THE PENITUS ARMOR ! This only make the penitus oculatus NPC's wear the blades armor, shield and swords instead of their original armor.

THIS MOD HAS ONLY BEEN TESTED ON THE LATEST VERSION OF SKYRIM ANNIVERSARY EDITION ! I DO NOT KNOW IF IT WILL WORK WITH PREVIOUS VERSION, IF IT DOESN'T REPORT IT IN BUG.
The mods in the screenshots for the armor are the following (I also greatly recommend them) :
- Blades Armors and Weapons Retexture SE by Xavbio
- Reshaped and Fixed Blades Armor SE by Eraandiel
- Akaviri Katana - Blades Sword Replacer by billyro (I used the extra curved version)

I always wanted to see the blades armor more used and not just by my followers and me and since the blades faction and quest in Skyrim is pretty much useless and forgotten you never ever see them in action. Not even once you do their quest...
So this mod is inspired from Oblivion when the blades were still actively the Emperor's guards. Now the penitus agents will be wearing the full blades set, Gaius Maro and Commander Maro also.
This mod does not uses SPID but is compatible with mods that will not change the gear of the penitus agents, Gaius Maro and Commander Maro.
I personally use this mod with RMB SPIDified - Authentic Legion and had no issue of compabilities. The NPCS were all wearing the armor as intended.
I do know that the mod NEW LEGION although is currently conflicting with this mod and makes TWO penitus agents wear the armors of the NEW LEGION mod instead of blades armor set.
Everyone is free to take this mod and do patches or SPID version as I do not own the assets of the mod in question (it's vanilla armors).
I might myself try SPID one day but don't hope on it.
Installation :
Mod manager :
Install as you would with the mod manager of your choice
Manual :
Go to "C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data" and drop the .esp file in data.
The begining of your path might be different than mine depending on if you installed on steam or a different drive name.
If you installed on other platform than steam the path will be where your game is installed. To do so just right click on your game icon, then click properties then on the window that show up click "browse file location" this will give you the folder of your game. You then click on data and you drop the file here.
I DO RECOMMEND YOU TO MAKE YOUR LIFE EASY AND INSTALL IT WITH MOD MANAGER THOUGH
