Overview:Two handed weapons are too slow in vanilla. They feel pretty clunky. One handed weapons are much stronger in the late game because of the speed difference. This mod fixes that. It adds a perk to the PC which gives a flat 25% speed boost. I kept this mod as simple as possible to make it compatible with everything.
Installation:
1. Install the esp file. Use a mod manager or copy the file to your data folder.
2. The first time you start a game with this mod, open the console by pressing "~" on your keyboard. Then type:
help zweihander
This should give you a list of ids. Note the one that says zweihanderperk. It ends with d66. Then type:
player.addperk XX000d66.
The XX will be a different number for everyone. You should see a message saying "zweihander perk was added to player" or something similar. You only have to do this once per playthrough. It will work even if you do this in the middle of a current playthrough. I could not get the addperk script to work for some reason so you have to add the perk manually. I'm not going to add it to a perk tree because I don't want incompatibilities.Uninstallation:
1. Remove the perk from your from you character using player.removeperk XX000d66 in the console.
2. Remove the esp.
