This mod expands, restructures, and dramatically improves Stendarr's Beacon, making it more functional for those playing as, with, or against the Vigilants of Stendarr. It also adds new, lore-appropriate interior zones, outbuildings, and decor to complement the Vigil's aesthetic.
New Beacon Features:
A visually and functionally enhanced Beacon exterior, featuring new decor, extra Vigilants, and amenities for the player
Vigilant living quarters in the Beacon interior, with associated shrines, reliquaries, and dungeons
The Keeper's Quarters, where Keeper Carcette will move to after the Hall of the Vigil is destroyed
A proper library for the Vigil!
A hidden basement, which connects the Beacon interior to the Caverns of Mercy--a small dungeon that doubles as an alternate exit to the valley below
Compatibility
This mod was patched by Ruhadre for compatibility with his excellent Keeper Carcette Survives SSE mod as well as VIGILANT SSE. It was also patched by DarthVitrial for compatibility with his Verified Creation, "A Tale of Blood and Snow." It is fully compatible with most mods affecting Stendarr's Beacon and should generally be compatible with anything that doesn't directly edit the location.
Known incompatibilities include:
Rigmore of Bruma (blocks the exit to the Caverns of Mercy)
Ashe – Crystal Heart (blocks the exit to the Caverns of Mercy)
Legacy of the Dragonborn (blocks the entrance to Stendarr's Beacon interior)
Project AHO (minor navmesh conflicts)
Also:
Now available on XB1 and PS4! Installation on PC should be easy: simply use NMM, Steam Workshop, or just download the .zip folder, extract the .esp file, and place it into your Skyrim data folder.
Many thanks to Ruhadre, DarthVitrial and others who took interest in adapting and improving this mod. Please enjoy!
