Ever felt like it takes much longer for NPC mages to run out of magicka compared to the player character? There is a reason for that: they get unfair advantages in the game settings. By default, their spells cost much less magicka than the players' while at the same time having better regeneration, which leads to seemingly endless Ward and projectile spam behaviour. This mod aims to fix this by changing the following two game settings:
fMagicCasterSkillCostMultVanilla: 0.5Mod: 2.0 (multiplier for NPC spell cost) fMagicSkillCostScale Vanilla: 0.5Mod: 0.65(NPC spell cost scaling with respect to skill level, 0.65 is the value used for the player)
This mod uses no scripts and should be compatible with pretty much everything.
