About this mod
A small mod adding falling leaf particles around the city of Riften, adding for a slightly more immersive and convincing atmosphere.
This does not effect any part outside of Riften, although I plan in the future to implement these particles all around the Rift Hold.
- Permissions and credits
When Riften was being developed by Bethesda Game Studios, they never implemented any particle systems around the area to show falling leaves, which was fine to me, although I wanted to see what I could do to slightly enhance the feel and atmosphere that Riften possesses. Particle systems have been placed all around the city, near trees, which will emit falling leaves. The particles are custom made, and are of very small file size.
- Manual: Unzip the mod .zip file anywhere on your PC, then copy and paste the .BSA and Archive files into the
Data folder of your Skyrim Special Edition installation.
Q: Why aren't the leaves appearing for me?
A: Try going into your SkyrimPref.ini and make sure the following is there:
Q: Do you have plans to add the leaf effects to areas outside of Riften?
A: Within some time, yes, but as of late I have not had the sufficient time to do so.
Q: Can I distribute this mod through my own or separate platform? (Personal website, Mediafire, Google Drive, etc.)
A: You may not, but you are always free to link directly to this mod page.
