About this mod

This mod entails Castle Farsight, a grand abode for the player to call home.

Permissions and credits
Hi all,

This mod adds Castle Farsight to your game, a unique player home located at Mara's Eye Pond.
The aim was to create a quaint castle where the Dovahkiin can chill out, store and display his cool
stuff, and sit on his throne like a big shot.

Location:
Mara's Eye Pond, South-West of Windhelm. The castle will be marked on your map.

Features include:
-A unique castle using only vanilla assets
-Plenty of storage and display space
-Ample room for your family (I recommend using the Custom Family Home mod by WitchRiser)
-Your own courtyard
-Smithing facilities on top of the towers, offering great views
-Alchemy and enchanting stations, of course
-Balconies for sight-seeing
-Your own sauna, with access to the pond to take a chilly dive :)
-You can choose to either pay for the castle, or take it for free

Acquisition:
Method 1) There's a guy called Knekr Gale-Stricken, wearing a green outfit and a hat, who hangs out in the Palace of the Kings in Windhelm.
He sells the deed to the castle, containing instructions as to where you can find your key (If he's not offering to trade,
come back after 7 A.M.). It's expensive, you're buying a castle after all.
Method 2) You can go and get your key at the specified location without actually buying the deed. Makes less sense immersion-wise, but makes
more sense for the people who are short on gold and want to check the place out. Go to Mara's Eye Pond, you'll find a hatch
in the ground on the little island in its center. There's vampires in there, kill them and look for their dining table. Your
key will be in a strongbox sitting on that table.

In order to move your family to this castle, your best option is to use the Custom Family Home mod by WitchRiser. I use it myself, and it's
awesome.

Installation:
Just plonk the .esp file into your Data folder (Skyrim Special Edition\Data). Don't forget to activate it in the menu.
That's it, I hope you enjoy :)

UPDATE:
I've uploaded an updated version of the mod with some minor improvements. Nothing major, and it's safe to update to this new version from a previous one.

1) The entry hall's interior windows are brighter, and look like actual windows now :)
2) One of the mannequins in the central staircase didn't work, now it does
3) Fixed the mannequin in the tower bedroom being slightly elevated from the floor
4) Added a little shrine of Talos to the tower bedroom so you can cure your diseases at home
5) The chest at the foot of the double bed in the retiring room is now the right way-around

You can also view these changes in the readme, should you wish to.
