Hello, your mod should compatible with Light Horses of Skyrim (Realistic body and fur),since there is no skeleton.nif in it,is this right? Here is a link: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/33692?tab=files&BH=14
Even though that mod doesn't have a skeleton.nif file, they essentially do the same thing. I don't think they are compatible just looking at that mod. You can always instal or uninstall Heartland Horse anytime in your playthrough and won't hurt anything, so it's good for testing. All the best my friend.
I use Light horses of Skyrim and Heartland horses and they work well together, the only downside is all the light horses don't have furry feet so it looks kinda odd but they all look cute. Just a lil nake on the hoofs.
While the proportions of the horses' body is bit odd, this has to be the best mod altering horse appearance I've seen and tried, most mods make horses look like they're gonna break every bone in their body the first mountain climb I force them on, endorsed
Yeah fjord horses have really strange proportions, but I still think they look better than vanilla horses which is a weird mix of clydesdale and shire horse breeds
This horse Skeleton just fixed the Intro sequence for me. Before using this, the horse always went right into a stone and no other mods helped to solve it, but your mod. Thank you very much, using almost every Skeleton mod from you now.
Just a headsup on the proportions. You need to edit the neck to body ratio, otherwise it looks a little bit silly. Right now, the head to neck & body proportions look like a turtles neck. The legs are to thin for a proper upper body transition. That's why the body should be made a little slimmer to fit the proportions right. Hope you understand what I mean. ^_^
