Hi, is this expected using Complex Grass and DynDOLOD?

<Warning: Billboard for model Meshes\landscape\grass\vurt_vaccinium_snowy.nif does not contain texture matches Verdant - A Skyrim Grass Plugin SSE Version.esp vurt_vaccinium_snowy [GRAS:FE017862]>

It's a benign error, which won't cause any issues. It's a missing mesh that isn't even used in the final version; please feel free to ignore it.

Hi, I am trying to generate LODs for Verdant, but it seems to not work.

My understanding is that the last version does not require to have "Grass" checked when generating. Is this correct?

Also is there a way to increase the draw distance of the grass? I know vanilla is 5 cells but other mods seem to have that option.

The edge of the render distance is very obvious:

with xLodGen is a little better but i still don't see any Verdant grass beyond rendering limit:

iMinGrassSize=60                        (For better performance, you can raise this number up to a 100 or more)

Damn bro, WHAT? Lmao I was using Folkvangr with QW Patch 2, and I was decreasing the number, thinking it was gonna decrease grass size and therefore resulting in better performance, but I noticed my frames getting worse but didn't know why, and you're telling me it's because of this setting? Daaaaaamn, so increasing the number improves performance? Why is that? What exactly is this setting doing?

Also, Folkvangr is a bit too heavy for me so I looked for more performance friendly grasses and found that Verdant was one of the recommended grass mods with good performance and the only one I liked out of the rest.

Is there any way to remove the grass from growing on snow? Travelling from Whiterun to Dawnstar makes the contrast of yellow grass on snow very noticeable.
    Spoiler:
    Show

Edit: Or a grass mod that goes well with this one? I'm playing using the Anvil Wabbajack modlist, and I really really like it so far. Just this little detail that I noticed while exploring.

Hi. Does anyone know the best TexGen settings for the grass LOD? I'm getting very obvious seams especially in the Whiterun tundra region. Do I just adjust the settings for Dyndolod from the description?

EDIT: nvm I just got it fixed

Hello! Does your grass look seamless in every weather and daytime? I had reference where i able to get seamless lod through editing Dyndolod_sse.ini and i also changed "Ambient" in Texgen to 300 because lod was really dark. But now in other daytimes and weathers grass lod is too bright.

Anyone know what is causing grass to not load next to grass that loaded in?

That Oldrim mod page and the post tab is a gem of a page of this skyrim community.

Hi, I got this error running TexGen
Error: File not found textures\landscape\grass\vurt_icebush.dds. Used by Meshes\landscape\grass\vurt_vaccinium_snowy.nif Verdant - A Skyrim Grass Plugin SSE Version.esp vurt_vaccinium_snowy [GRAS:FE012862]

Is this going to cause issues?

No if I understand preeum from the sticky post up top correctly the vurt_vaccinium_snowy mesh doesnt get used in the latest version of verdant. So you should be able to delete it or ignore the issue from TexGen.

i have this with every grass mod but idk where to ask
WHY do ALL grass mods i install cover so many VANILLA roads all over the map

like the road leading from out of whiterun, is mostly uncovered but then just outside the big gate theres a huge part just completely covered in this grass mod's grass. and then its fine up untill around the corner to the left where again the complete road isnt even visible anymore

i have grass fps booster, landscape fixes for grass mods, no grass in objects, even the generic grass limiter of LFFGM.

im using northern roads but ion see how that would add grass to roads..? also jk's whiterun outskirts but same story.... the vanilla path locations havent changed so ion see why theres grass added there.

https://imgur.com/a/mR9FMRv for refrence. (it also happens far outside the city btw)

P.S. without grass mods everything is completely fine. no grass in weird places. so its grass mods adding grass where they shouldnt for me

Yes, a lot of grass mods add grass to land textures that don't have them in the vanilla game.
You can use this mod to revert that.
