Rationale I found the gemstones (ruby's, sapphires, emeralds etc) in the vanilla game were too abundant. I wanted it to be a genuine surprise to find a gem. I made a conscious decision not to adjust the value of gemstones, I only adjusted their abundance. If you want to also make gemstones more valauable, then I recommend using the TRUE MEDIEVAL ECONOMY [ https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/11533 ] mod. It makes items like armour & gems very valuable while making other items like food very cheap.
What does this mod do? Gemstones are made rare. Optionally reduce the abundance of all gemstones by 50% (rare) , 75% (very rare) or 90% (extremely rare) from vanilla game.
Requirements Skyrim Special Edition version 1.5.62.0.8 or higher.
Compatibility Should be compatible with any mods.
Load Order Place after any mods that change level list items that includes gemstones changes.
