About this mod
Originally, you can't really do anything with the Ebony Blade when it comes to enchanting and upgrading. I changed all of the skills to the two-handed skill as it should have been. I gave it all the stats of a Daedric great sword, so it's properly balanced. You can enchant and upgrade it just like any other weapon.
- Permissions and credits
The blade is called "Edged Blade" I kept the name different so it does not conflict with the original weapon, while at the same time being fully customizable. I gave it the same exact stats as the Daedric great sword. The sound will be silent when you draw it unlike the Daedric great sword which was very loud.
Their are different versions of the blade that I made, make sure to read the descriptions to see which works best for you.
I have three different version of the weapon based on how you wanted to use it. Only use one master file at a time.
Edged Blade:
This version increases with the two handed skill tree and swings at the rate of a normal great sword
Edge Blade Faster swings:
Increases with the two handed skill tree and the blade to swing at the same speed as a one handed weapon. So it swings at a speed of 1.000 instead of the regular great sword speed of 0.700
Edged Blade One Handed Skill Tree:
This version swings at the speed of a normal great sword but it levels up with the one handed skill tree. This is how the original Ebony Blade worked and I wanted to keep it to its roots if you want to use it like this
How to get the Edged Blade:
It can be crafted from the forge and it only requires one steel ingot to craft.
Installation:
Vortex/NMM/Other
Download through mod manager and activate the mod
Manual Installation:
Copy and paste the EdgedBlade.esp file into your Skyrim/Data folder.
Manual Uninstall:
Delete the EdgedBlade.esp from your Skyrim/Data folder.
