About this mod

The max count in UMF is three. It isn't busy, doesn't reach far, and aims to be comfortably underwhelmingly out of the way.

Features:
[1] Increases max followers to three for both humanoids and animals.
[2] Utility spell called "UMF Config".
Commands --  Has wait, follow, check, and dismiss. 

Options --  Has follower, ui/menu, and help options. 
[3] There are three download versions: Default, Adjusted*, and Mortal**.
[4] MCM available for those using SkyUI.

It does nothing else.

Disclaimer: Might not want to change related mods mid-game.  Especially if the prior mod is extensive and script busy.
Install Instructions:
[1] Use Vortex/NMM (or)
[2] Unzip and drop the "Data" folder into your "Skyrim" folder.

Uninstall Instructions:
[1] Click on "Clear Followers" under Options > Help.  Confirm with "Yes".  Save and exit.
[2] Use Vortex/NMM again (or)
[3] Delete the two files with the name "LarsepanUMF" in your "Data" folder.

...Custom Followers...
■ Most custom followers are going to work beautifully.  UMF does not give the player the ability to control custom followers like Inigo, so you don't have to worry about breaking them.  This does not mean that all custom followers won't be broken.  Some are not multiple follower friendly.  For more on that check the UMF Compatibility Info post.

■ Follower Commentary Overhaul SE compatible.  Choose a Compatibility Patch for this.

■ Relationship Dialogue Overhaul touches topics UMF uses.  It uses patches to be compatible with other multiple follower mods.  Choose a Compatibility Patch for this.
■ Simple Follower Manager compatible.
World Assets Recycle Project SE compatible.  Choose a Compatibility Patch for this.


...Follower Horses...
■ If you're using Convenient Horses, toggle "Follower Ride Assist" OFF.
■ If you're using Immersive Horses, toggle "Follower Ride Assist" ON.
■ If you're using Simple Horses , toggle "Follower Ride Assist" OFF.

...Something Broken?...
■ UMF probably won't get along with another multiple follower framework mod. Don't use UMF with AFT, EFF, NFF, UFO, etc.  Moreover, I advise against switching frameworks during a playthrough.
■ Loose files have preference over files in BSAs.  Example: If DialogueFollowerScript.pex is sitting in your Data>Scripts folder, that file is superseding the one in LarsepanUMF.bsa.
■ Make sure that UMF patches are placed below UMF.
■ If there's a compatibility issue with another mod, post a bug.  I might be able to put a patch together.

■ The "Commands" branch contains orders that current followers can use.  "Check" helps with some follower shenanigans.  It can teleport problematic types to behind you (they must be off-screen and at least 15 meters away).  It also stops follower vs follower fights.  Distance and location decide whether or not a distant follower hears your command to "Follow" again.
■ The "Options" branch contains toggles for your "Followers" and "UI/Menu".  It also has a "Help" branch with "Update/Fix", "Clear Followers", and "Info." 
■  The "Commands Mode" toggle is for when you're comfortable with your UMF settings.  It removes the UMF Config spell and adds a Commands spell.  If you no longer want to be in Commands mode, you can exit by selecting the "More" and then "Commands Mode is ON".
■ "Lively" encourages current followers to occasionally do things. The "ON(headgear)" selection is a variation that only allows followers to relax at taverns/home if you remove your headgear.  If you have a horse mod that provides horses for followers, "Ride Assist" tells followers to ride horses they own.  This toggle may be useful depending on what horse mod you're using.
■ "Update/Fix" checks current followers and, if necessary, adds them to the total under UMF management.  "Clear Followers" dismisses current followers and removes all followers from UMF management.

■ Rebuilding the Blades:  Before talking to Delphine, tell your non-recruits to "wait".  She'll then pick the follower who is following you.  If all followers are following/waiting - the selection will be random, which you might not want.

*The Adjusted version removes the infinite hunting bows/iron arrows that the default game gives to your followers. This is common practice in many multiple follower mods. – Technical stuff: This version removes the follower hunting bow and follower iron arrows from the DialogueFollower Follower alias.

**The Mortal version makes your unprotected followers recover/die normally (no insta-regen after battle/they die a lot). Good for testing purposes... or
laughing at your redshirts. – Technical stuff: This version removes the follower hunting bow and follower iron arrows, and additionally unchecks the ”Protected” toggle in the DialogueFollower Follower alias.
