    Comments/suggestions/ideas are welcome.

    v3.0.2:
    - Most mods requested have been incorporated into the patcher (if needed).
    - Bonemold and Chitin are now much more difficult to find on mainland Skyrim.
    - Adjustment to key lists so higher tiered items will not start showing up right away.

    Future Plan (after SAE):
    - Continue adding support for the patcher.

My advice to anyone thinking about using this mod, who wants a balanced feeling to the game:

This mod makes buying a house a big deal, and buying a nice item from a merchant a big deal.  It makes you feel like an active member of an economy, and not someone who lives in a world where loot magically gets better and better.

Be willing to try it out and get a feel for how the balance works, it is different from every other loot mod and takes some getting used to.  You might get a Dragonplate armor at level 5, but you can't use it (with TDF Equip. Restriction, a must have combo with this mod) and the gold you get from selling it isn't OP because houses cost 20k++

This is the overall feeling, and the balance--You will have to grind for gold! if this is what you're looking for, this is the mod for you.  Imperial luck is nerfed, gold quest rewards are nerfed and capped much lower.

1- Do not use with scarcity-- they're not compatible-- scarcity will mess up quest reward items due to changing global variables which this mod needs unchanged for its balance to work
2- Use with TDF Equipment Breakage/Restriction, to make this mod perfectly balanced with player leveling.
3- This mod is different than all the other loot mods but in my opinion it's better.  It really touches everything and if you get into xedit you will see.
    4. Do not use with lock related loot, will make chests too OP.
    5. If using JK's skyrim, don't use Indigent (which would clean up all the cells but JK's, which feels weird). Instead use Sunhelm needs, Caco food container removal from MCM, and Synthesis Food Removal Patcher.  When a nice house costs 50k and imperial luck only adds 15gp maximum, I don't feel like indigent is necessary.  You will need to pick up some nice items to sell for extra GP.  Vendors buy at roughly 1/4 of what they sell for.
    6.  I am currently using this mod + Lightweight economy overhaul but have deleted the edits from LEO to quests rewards, only keeping the edit for prowler's profit, because I felt that had to be nerfed.  So far everything seems to be working great.

yeah, what I will say is I wish the author made a slightly more lightweight version of the mod.  I don't feel like I'll be able to afford a house til level 20 lol.  But I still am enjoying it more than leveled loot.

Does this mod make gold more scarce by itself?

Would darenni’s spell packs (Natura, lunaris, vulcano, etc) need patches?

Any chance to change quality name of items with a more familiar colors? Common Uncommon Rare Epic Legendary Relic is more common and familiar Rarity Scale Color Palette for most of gamers

are you considering a skypatcher version of this mod? Loot mods can be easily made via skypatcher.

I really like this mod in term of coherence, especially the "location " part. Finding items in appropriate locations and no money on dead animals is a game changer

Although, If the rarity factor seems quite correct to me, the abundance percentages are still too high relative to the high number of chests availables to my opinion (for someone like me who enjoy exploring at least), resulting in the best armor sets & weapons obtained at level 10-15 without much effort.

I would suggest to cut the percentages of abundance to something like this by default (I play without any quest extensions) :

    • Common: ~50-59%
    • Uncommon: ~40-25%
    • Rare: ~7-10%
    • Scarce: ~2.5-5%
    • Exotic: ~0.5-1%

    Cheers

Does this work with Requiem? I've tried using both, but I can't tell if it is partially working or not. If I load it after Requiem it definitely works, but I don't know if that's messing up requiem.

Found 3 dragonbone bows in random locantions, including some sewers under the bee farm. I had a maximum of level 20, now it's 23... A very far from balanced mod.

You probably have something conflicting with this mod… not the mod being “far from balanced”.

It is possible to find an item like that at that level as this mod delevels items (per the description), but extremely rare.  The chances of 3… not unless you have something else affecting LLs.

If you would like to approach this a little differently, I would be happy to help figure out the problem. On the other hand if you prefer to provide “constructive criticism” in this manner, feel free to see yourself out.

dear author, I didn't have any more mods that would edit loot from containers (I only had a mod that edits economics - trade & barter. Maybe it has something to do with it, but I'm not sure about that). By the way, before downloading this mod, I had never found such loot at such levels in a long time of playing Skyrim. And yes, I wouldn't mind helping you figure out the problem.

    Hello,
I had to uninstall this mod because it causes me random CTDs after a while always with the same terms even though I don't know what that means. I don't get any more CTDs once I've uninstalled it. Extract from the Crash Log Analizer log :

    Hi.

I'd really like to use this mod (I'm on the Xbox) but I'm concerned about the long list of mods at the bottom of the description. It seems there's all these other completely unrelated mods lumped in with this one. I wondered if it meant its just compatible with this mod, but when I load my game for the first time a little message tells me Lora patched 19 mods.

Is there a version of this mod that doesn't have all these extra mods bundled with it? Or have I misunderstood? Sorry if I have I'm new to mods.

I just want a mod that does what it says on the tin, and that's all.

Also when I entered Embershard Mine (thats the one near Riverwood) at level one the first two bandits both had dwemer weapons. At level one. Is that supposed to happen?

Thanks very much. I appreciate all your hard work.

      1) Generally speaking, if you are a console player, you should contact the porter of the mod, not the original mod author, with questions.

      2) This mod does not come with "extra mods." It detects certain mods in your load order and then patches their contents into the game's leveled lists. If you are playing Anniversary Edition (AE), then LORA patches much of that content, contributing to the "19 mods patched" notification.

      3) Regarding higher level weapons appearing at low levels, rarely it happens, much of the time it doesn't. My experience with LORA, as a long-time user on both PC and console, is that from time to time it seems to take Skyrim's built-in tier system off its very predictable rails, resulting in the occasional windfall. Most of the time though, loot is much harder to come by. To me, that is a huge asset.

Thank you very much for explaining.

That's great to hear. It definitely seems like the most comprehensive and carefully balanced low loot mod. I'm looking forward to playing it.

Although twice I've tested the Embershard Mine bandits and both times they've had dwarven and orcish weapons. But maybe I just got really *lucky*.

      Thanks again.
