This is a simple xEdit modification to player's fire breath shout for my own liking (Yes, I've seen some mods that already did this, but they aren't my cup of tea).
Disclaimer:
My modding capability is limited by xEdit and I can not confirm if the shout passive bonus like Fire Within will actually take effect, nor if I know I did this right. It may be overpowered or underpowered based on what kind of difficulty you set for your Skyrim, but at least it works fine in my difficulty setting.
Changes:
-----------------------
First Word:
> No changes
> Cooldown: 30 seconds (Default)
------------------------
Second Word:
> Explosive Dragon Fireball
> Magnitude: 90
> Area: 25
> Cooldown: 50 seconds
> Unrelenting Force effect for area knockdown
Initially, I only put a staggering effect, but it wasn't quite satisfying. So I added a little more force.
------------------------
Third Word:
> Concentrative Dragon Fire Breath
> Magnitude: 100 (It can actually deliver 400 ~ 600 damage single target if I'm not seeing it wrong, tracked from display enemy level. Works great when you want to debate with dragons and you're using health multiplier for them)
> Cooldown: 150 seconds
> Added effect: Stagger
> Added effect: Dismay/Fear (Magnitude: 99, duration 6, unless you somehow play the game and the enemy level is beyond 99, everyone that aren't resisting it will flee in terror temporarily)
Because who would expect that they would fight a "mini" dragon. Upon getting hit by the fire, they feel the terror of the dragon, thus they will flee in terror temporarily until their sense comes back that you're just a mortal (or a vampire).
Added stagger because it only makes sense that such a strong force would stagger you. Besides, in a certain concentrative shout mod I tried, it wasn't immersive that I got interrupted because the enemy just passes through my fire breath and power attacked me. What a waste.
-----------------------
Notes:
All of these changes only affect PC. Not the dragon.
I copied the spell and magic effect record so it's unique to the player.
For Paarthurnax greeting:
I'd recommend you to greet Paarthurnax by the first word, Yol, only. Even though if you have already unlocked all of the words. I couldn't guarantee what would happen if you use the second or third word together.
----------------------
Compatibility:
- Will NOT compatible with any mods that alter fire breath shout directly, obviously.
- Ziil Los Dii Du - Cooldown reduction seems to work fine.
- Appears to work with Thunderchild Champion of Kyne's buff. Although I need to double-check it.
