    ANNOUNCEMENTS

    You can also find Better Shadowmere on the Skyrim Nexus. I've also released two different xbox one versions of the mod: Better Shadowmere [XB1] and Better Shadowmere (Armored) [XB1]. Feel free to check out my other mods and please don't forget to endorse the mods if you like them.

    Hey! My Shadowmere has this strange green glowing effect and it really pisses me off. Is there any way to remove it. Thanks <3

    I'm sorry, this is probably a dumb question.

    "appearance, speed, level, factions, spells or perks"

    Does this include AI packages that simply make him return to the Sanctuary when dismissed?

    Some reason I cannot ride shadowmere after adding the mod im not sure why

      got that to fix but why does the default dark brotherhood saddle stay on it

    Really love the look of the Swift Steeds version, but that mod is currently locked :-/

    Did the creator move it to another location where I can download it?

    How do you feel about adding a spell that can summon Shadowmere to your location?

    for seom reason on both shadowmare and frost they apear with the saddle/armor but when i mouth them it dissapears

    I found a solution to the glowing eye problem for Better Frost and Better Shadowmere. You can open the permafrost.nif or nightmere.nif using nifscope, click on "eyeglow", find under "BSeffectShaderProperty", under "shader flag 1", remove the flag "soft effect". This way, you will get your glowing eye back.

      this sounds like a silly question but, where did you find those file? I only found the .nif file for the saddle

      it should be in the same folder as the saddles, meshes/actor/horse/character asset. If you can't find it, then you need to download one of the horse mesh replacement mod by the mod author here.

      Idk man, blue eyes - vanilla aren't glowing. In fact, they're still red

    so I don't know if this is a recent thing, with the new Skyrim update and all, however Shadowmeres eyes are not glowing, I tried the improved shadowmere mod as well and the eyes still are not glowing, so it sounds like an update issue, unless there's something I'm missing.

      Did you find a solution? Everyhting is working except the eyes and i can't understand why.. (Better Frost has the same problem)

      I am using the XBox mod and my shadowmere's eyes glowed blue once in his first fight, a spriggan.. ever since then no glow. I don't mind him being understated, he is so cool with the smoke effect at night, but I came here to see if anyone else also had this issue.

      The problem is fixed now with the new update for both the Nexus and XBox versions.

    I don't know if this mod is the cause but my character has a weird magic effect all around them. It may be from Shadowmere, since he also does this effect.

      This mod doesn't add spells or spell effects to the players though.
