2024 was a really difficult year for me. In the first half of the year, I went through a painful divorce; in the second half of the year, I started a new job with a heavy workload. I needed to spend most of the year focusing on my IRL happiness. Fortunately, things are much better for me now. The only real “problem” is that my workload for my job is quite high. (Even this is not so bad; I work in education, and part of the reason my workload has been so heavy is that I have moved to a new school and a new subject. Happily, all my work this year will serve as a foundation for my work next year, so even on the weeks where I have a ton to do, I am investing in my future success and work-life-balance).
I am sneaking in modding sessions here and there when I can find the time, but updates will be slow for a bit. I am working on very large updates to Mysticism, Adamant, Hand to Hand, Blade & Blunt, and Sorcerer. Due to the interrelated nature of Simonrim, all of these updates will need to be released around the same time. I’ve made a lot of progress, but there’s still plenty of work left on my to do list.
I am still active in my Discord and I work through my comments every few weeks or so. The continued support for my work, even during this time where I’ve had to focus on other things, has meant a lot to me, and I am really looking forward to showing you the updates I’ve spent so long on.
A lot of satchel, bandoleer, and cloak mods use the "clothing body" keyword. The way your armor perks work make it so that you cannot wear many of the accessories while wearing armor.
When I upgraded my Smithing and Conjuration skills to level 100 and lit up related perks, I found that the damage of the bound weapon was higher than that of the +10 Daedric weapon. At the same time, the bound weapon could also trigger chaos damage. For all weapon build, without considering armor, this means that only "Smithing at level 100 with Enchanting at level 100" can exceed "Conjuration at level 100". Is this reasonable? I don't know if this is the impact of level 100 Smithing. If not, then I think it weakens Smithing and Enchanting too much. If so, then I think it's well-balanced.

Or an artifact weapon + Smithing, or an Enchanted weapon + Cultist of Azura, or some other combination. Fully perked Bound weapons are on par (or slightly above max temper daedric weapons) in damage and with access to Chaos damage + Magic Resist reduction from Conjuration perks. But those enchants are fixed, whereas a build with enchanting or using regular weapons can carry different ones with effects for specific situations. Bound weapons are good, but it doesn't mean they will always be the best pick.
Master Trader isn't an Adamant perk. You're likely using Trade and Barter and it needs a patch for most perk overhauls. So try finding one for adamant and t&b.
When I start a new game and the race menu/character creation screen opens, my character is covered with Northern Iron Armor. I looked up my issue and a user suggested Adamant was the cause. Is this true and is there a way to remove the armor in the creation screen? I am using Realm of Lorkhan as my Alternate Start.
Thanks for the mod! Looking forward to starting a new playthrough with the new perk tree.
Just curious, is it as straight forward as it appears via conditions to make it so armor perks would require the cuirass + 2 additional pieces ... Like a heavy armor perk would always require the heavy cuirass, then 2 other heavy pieces of your choice?
Also, any guesses why Honed Metal -NPC Crafting and Enchanting Services- might be interacting strangely with Adamant's smithing add-on, where NPCs seem to be able to temper well above their skill level + perks would allow for?
Living shadow in the stealth tree doesn't seem to work. I see an animation when sneaking in combat (like a green black swirl) but enemies never actually stop searching for me.
Can anyone help me remove the condition for wearing robes in SSEedit for some Alteration perks like "Armor spells are 50% stronger while wearing robes." I want to remove the condition of wearing robes so that armor spells are stronger regardless of my armor worn.

there is no option to buy it.
is there a known mod conflict?

Kind of a combination of Adamant + Hand to Hand
are NPC skill trees affected?
if so:
are modded companions perkless?
