By the way. there are a couple of ITMs in this mod that I've included for compatibility reasons. Cleaning them will have no effect on the mod, positive or negative, if you don't need them. However, if you wanted to combine this mod with another mod that also has other features you like, those ITMs will ensure that Arena's levels are consistently applied. This means that Arena is compatible out of the box with Morrowloot, Skyrim Revamped, INEZ, Open World Loot, and anything else. Just load Arena last and let it do its thing, and you can keep the non-EZ features from those other mods.
I recommend that you use Parapet's new Radiant Requirements MCM to set alter the starting levels of radiant quests. This will stop the Companions from sending you to Broken Fang Cave at level 5.
I feel like this mod isn't working properly for me (v353), or i've made a mess adding more mods on top of it (i was following a difficulty playlist so i thought it'd be ok tho), i also got stuff like encounter zones unlocked, high enemy level redux, rogues n raiders, restless undead, hand placed enemies, etc... all mods that i thought would generally bump up the level of enemies across the board way more compared to vanilla, yet i'm at 30+ and it feels like i'm encountering way too many low lv enemies (even as low as 1 sometimes) including bosses (for example i got to Saarthal for college questline and the draugr boss was just lv7). It's not like i never encounter high lv enemies but they do feel to be on the rarer side when i thought they'd be the norm with all these difficulty mods, yet the only stuff i find that's way above my lv are just dragons or dragon priests. I don't really get how encounter zones and lv scaling works so i don't even know if those low lv enemies are normal because they're actually not affected by these mods or it's because they're interfering with each other and messing stuff up.
I have the same issue and also have encounter zones unlocked, high level enemy redux and wildcat. It just quite randomly started with lots of very low level enemies when my character became somewhere around level 50. The load order (LOOT) should be fine so i have no clue what to do.
I only use Arena and Locational Encounter Zones and I'm having the same issue. I hit level 25 and all of a sudden LOTS of enemies are levels 1-6. I saw another couple reports about this as well so it seems this is a common issue, I just don't know what's causing it
Hey I've installed the entire simonrim suite and the vanilla+ style with an increased difficulty is really amazing. However, I am struggling with progression. I've always played skyrim in years past on expert diff with minimal gameplay mods, this time i went with legendary and got all the simonrim gameplay mods.
The game did initially feel kind of unplayable as a strictly melee build (mostly getting one by oneshot by everything) until I got a follower who tanked most enemies. Then I got to the dragon quest which i thought was a beginner quest, but its basically unbeatable. I'd have to whack the guy 1000 times to get him to half hp
So I was wondering is legendary difficulty supposed to be this ridiculously hard? should i be doing the dragon quest later? Or does SimonMagus's mods make changes to such fights that I am unaware of
Edit: Play on expert or even master the game is infinitely more fun and balanced
Does Arena and the mods Rogues n' Raiders and The Restless Dead by alanovichromanov work well together? I've noticed while using all of these mods, I tend to see a lot of low level bandits and Draugr and I destroy them.
You will always see low level bandits and draugr because Easy Spawns will always spawn between 1 and X, where X is the number determined by the encounter zone. You can be a level 40 character and still get a level 1 bandit.

Should've read the description thoroughly first.
