But the player character is Shor/Lorkahn though the destruction of the heart in Elder Scrolls 3 and his blood(The amulet of kings) in Elder Scrolls 4 let them return to the mortal plane.
Well, they're not really Lorkhan proper, actually. They're a Shezzarine, which means they're an avatar of Shor's souls sent to Nirn in time's of great need. And regardless of this, we do know Shezarrines co-existed with the heart. Plus, it's just a fun mod to play with and might have roleplaying opportunities for people who don't play as the Dragonborn.
Not to mention the majority of Shezzarines are recognized as heroes by man. For example, Penial Whitestroke was called one and the person who did was smothered by moths... Plus, it would rather weird for someone to be an avatar of shor/lorkhan and blessed by Akatosh. Anu and Padomay do not like each other and Akatosh is a Man's version of Auri-El.
Rather late to reply - but I figured I'd go ahead. Thing is, Talos is the amalgamation of both. We know his oversoul had both Dragonborns within it - mostly in the form of Tiber - and Shezzarines in the form of Wulfarth and Zurin. From a lore perspective, the fusion of the blessing of the Time-God and the aspects of Shor is something we see occur.
Akatosh himself, post Marukhati Selective, is a fusion of Auri-El and Shezzar according to some bits of Lore. Shezzar being the Imperialized version of Shor/Lorkhan.
Pelinal, too, is a Shezzarine, like you said. That would mean he has the Soul of Shor - but he also seems to be made from - or carries the - Amulet of Kings. The Blood of the Time God. One of the reasons for his madness, as I've read, came from the contradictory nature of his being.
As for the LDB maybe being a Shezzarine - its a theory but the best evidence, frankly, is his ability to sit on Shor's Throne. Shor never appears in game, but is stated to be -around- somewhere. And we can, despite this, sit on Shor's throne. While in, Oblivion, for example, you can't sit on Sheogorath's throne until you've taken his mantle. That detail is surprisingly relevant and something Bethesda pays attention to.
Bottom line, we definitely do see people with powers from both and that -contradiction- is vaguely intentional, as Lorkhan and Aka - despite being opposites - are also intimately intertwined. Mirror halves, essentially.
My question is this.. Isnt the Heart of Lorkhan supposed to be in Solstien? At the heart of the mountian? Isnt THAT what gave the triumvirate their godhead? I love this idea and am DLing it and endorsing it. I was just thinking that this could be an entire quest based after gaining the Kagernac items...
Thanks for adding this! Would it be possible to move it to a new location? Like a Dwemer ruin (perhaps on Solstheim)? Together with the mod Kagrenac's Tools it makes for an excellent role play MacGuffin =)
Endorsed, this s#*! is fun as hell. I'm sure there are other mods for it, but it'd be cool to have like an aura glow around you that could be toggleable. Also, not sure if this is necessary but be cool to have a spell added that summons some of the weapons of the Tribunal, like Almalexia's Hopesfire, and Vivec's spear thing, but those would be additions and its not like this mod lacks feeling like a god, and I'm sure would need some work to model. Nonetheless, this mod is fantastic, and should be endorsed way more.

EDIT: lol I'm not on Morrowind Nexus. NEVER SHOULD HAVE COME HERE.

Also the Heart should no longer exist on Nirn after the Nerevarine banished it.
