About this mod

Dakronych is a standalone Dremora follower placed in Skyrim. He is built on his own basic system with custom arranged dialogue using a reshuffling of the Dremora voice files to fit the narrative. He has a bit of a backstory involving his banishment to Nirn, and hints at it with a piece of dialogue option given when interacting with him.

Permissions and credits
"You are the Prey, and we are the Huntsmen. The Scamps are the Hounds, and the Vermai the Beaters. Your flesh is sweet, and the chase is diverting. As you may sometimes praise the fox or hare, admiring its cunning and speed, and lamenting as the hounds tear its flesh, so do we sometimes admire our prey, and secretly applaud when it cheats our snares or eludes pursuit. But, like all worldly things, you will in time wear, and be used up. You age, grow ugly, weak, and foolish. You are always lost, late or soon."

Adds a simple Dremora companion named Dakronych. He is a standalone voiced Dremora follower using rearranged provided Dremora voice files and base Dremora assets. He features full-time custom follower tracking using a quest marker given as soon as you accept him as a follower. He levels with the player starting at Level 20. He can be found in the Midden Dark walking around the Daedric Glove housing the quest involving Velehk Sain and his booty. He has no home, and stays where you last dismissed him. His combat style is like the usual encountered melee Dremora, wielding a leveled, fire enchanted weapon when you meet him.

A Note From The Author (Please Read):
Dakronych as a follower concept mod is my first ever experience with modding and using the Creation Kit. Most of what I did to make Dakronych and his scripts were ripped from online instruction and basic creation kit tools since I have no prior knowledge of either Skyrim modding or papyrus scripting, or any scripting for that matter. It is unlikely given the nature of follower mods (And also since tested him myself), but there IS a possibility you may run into inane bugs or errors when using this mod. If this is the case, just report them on the nexus page and I'll try to fix it to the best of my abilities. But as I said, it is very unlikely since there isn't much to blunder when it comes to actor and follower modding. Just make sure to consider the compatibility section of the description, and you should be good to go. Otherwise, I think this mod is a great introduction to Skyrim modding and it's community, so I say thanks to all those who support my small passion project, and enjoy.

COMPATIBILITY (Definitely Also Read):
He should be compatible with most mods as usual with standalone follower mods,
HOWEVER since he is built on his own follower script, he is unfortunately most likely incompatible with most if not
all follower framework overhauls. Personally I use Nether's Follower Framework, and I can play just fine with the two of them as long
as I don't add him to the framework, so... Don't do that. As for load order, it shouldn't make a difference I don't think, but I would make Dakronych
a higher priority than your follower overhaul just to play it safe.

LOCATION:
He can be found in the Midden Dark walking around the Daedric Glove housing the quest involving Velehk Sain and his booty. He has no home, and stays where you last dismissed him. Tracking is meant to compensate for this.

CONTINUING FORWARD:
I may intend to expand upon this mod, giving Dakronych a related quest that suits his backstory and fitting in more dialogue, but as I have said I am new to modding and know nothing of scripting and meagre more that of the creation kit, so it'll be awhile if any big update comes. My primary motivator to continue other than my own passion will be the reception of the mod. If anyone more experienced than me appreciates the mod and would like to help me add more content then I would be more than happy to let you assist in any capacity. For now, if anything I might just change his appearance to look more unique while staying lore-friendly, or change his location to be more suitable to lore.
