A Cat's Life introduces cats to Skyrim like never before, immersing them in the world with a depth unseen in any mod. Both domesticated and stray cats can be found wandering the streets of major cities and even smaller villages. You can earn the trust of a stray to adopt it as your own, or purchase a loyal feline companion from one of two dedicated stores. Packed with a wealth of features, A Cat's Life offers full customization, all easily adjustable through the mod configuration menu.
Some of the mod's standout features include adopting cats through an affinity system, purchasing them from specialized cat stores, and caring for them with a basic needs and happiness system. You can name your cats, buy them collars or beds, and much more. The mod is highly customizable, allowing you to tailor the experience to your preferences—whether you want only cats roaming the world or the full range of features detailed above.
A Cat's Life comes with a set of compatibility patches included in the FOMOD during installation, as listed below. Additional patches may be developed in the future, potentially by me and other members of the community.
Better Roads Open Cities Holidays Realistic Needs & Diseases iNeed Last Seed VR Patch
The two stores are strategically placed just outside the major cities they are near, carefully positioned to avoid conflicts with popular city overhaul mods. One store is located near Whiterun, next to the Honningbrew Meadery, while the other is situated just outside Riften's main gate. Allowing the feature in the MCM, the courier will deliver a letter to you, marking both locations on your map for easy reference.
The following mods are highly recommended as they help to greatly enhance the mod beyond its initial design.
Of course, a big thanks also go to my Discord Communityand especially myPatrons for helping to support my Skyrim and live streamingendeavours. I wouldn't still be doing any of this without you all.
