See the full list of changes in the changelog or readme.
Mix & Match achieves this by adding three tiers to each perk that gives set bonuses. For example, the Well Fitted perk will give you a 10% armour bonus if you're wearing two pieces, a 20% bonus for three pieces. But only a full set of four pieces will give you a maximum of 25% armour bonus. All the other set bonuses work the same way. This means you could wear only three pieces of an armour type and still get a whopping 20% armour bonus as well as a portion of any other perk that requires a set bonus. Alternatively, you could wear two pieces of each armour type to get a 10% armour bonus from perks in both the Light and Heavy Armour skill tree and take advantage of both skills, although not as powerful. All the perks still stack the same way as in vanilla, meaning you can get an additional armour bonus from the Matching Set perks as long as you wear two matching pieces or more.
"It just works!"

This is my first mod, and it took quite a lot of trial and error to learn the ropes and get it up and running. After rigorous testing and meticulous double-checking, I am thrilled with the result!
