This is the second mod in my "Hell's" series, and now modifies the game and DLC's named Dragon Priests.  This mod dramatically enhances their power and is not meant for people running a vanilla game.  This mod is meant specifically for OP Dovahkiins who use a significant amount of power-creep inducing mods such as Ordinator, Multiple Enchantments, and others.  Feel like there's nothing in Skyrim that can challenge your Dovahkiin with his 1200+ Armor Rating Redux defenses, and Ordinator "Miracle" sword with 6 enchantments?  Well, the Dragon Priests would like to have a word with you.  An ancient lich should be something very dangerous, and now they are.

This mod is absolutely not meant for people playing an otherwise vanilla game.  You will find the Dragon Priests mostly impossible to beat.  Nor is it meant for new characters, who will have no chance against the DP's.  With this mod the Dragon Priests are easily some of the toughest enemies in the game.  Fighting them will require copious amounts of magic and elemental resistance, and significant self-healing ability be it from potions or spells.  Without these you will die.  Dragon Priests are now fights that you have to prepare for.

All named Dragon Priests on Skyrim and Solstheim have been modified with the exception of Miraak.

The mod is currently available in 3 versions.
1)  Candyass Edition:  The original upload of the file was bugged and resulted in DP's that were stronger than vanilla, but far weaker than intended.  I decided to leave this version up for players who either do not have enough power creep in their game to handle the main versions, or players who simply aren't good enough at things like not-standing in spell effects to take on the more serious versions.

2)  Default Version:  This is the DP's as they were originally intended by this mod.

3)  Enhanced Edition:  This version removes certain annoying spells that had been added to some of the DP's, but as a consequence makes them considerably more aggressive.  At the moment this is the most difficult version of the Dragon Priests and the one most recommended to have the Dragon Priests from hell.

You only need one of the main files.

UPDATE:  I already touched on this, but this note is for people who scan documents for bold letters rather than reading the whole thing.  The original version of the mod was bugged resulting in weaker-than-intended DP's.  This has been corrected in the Default and Enhanced versions of the mod.  It is safe to overwrite the original.

Q&A
Q:  Is this mod compatible with (insert mod that changes dragon priest masks).
A:  No, except yes.  So long as the mask-mod modifies only the mask, the two mods will play nicely.  If the mod mods the Dragon Priest as well, then there's probably going to be a conflict.  The winner will be whichever is last in your load order.

Q:  Is this mod compatible with (insert mod that overhauls magic here.)
A:  Probably but can have additional effects.  This mod was written under the soft assumption that the user would be using Ordinator - Perks of Skyrim, and Apocalypse - Magic of Skyrim.  The latter of which is a hard requirement for the mod.

Q:  Are the unnamed Dragon Priests affected by this mod?
A:  If they were I probably would not have bothered with the insistent terminology of "named Dragon Priest".

Q:  Why do you keep capitalizing "Dragon Priest"?
A:  Nunya.

Q:  Why doesn't this mod cover Miraak?
A:  Number-1, there are mods already which affect Miraak and make him stronger.  By not including him I keep them compatible with this.  Number-2 eventually I will get my Hell's Miraak mod done, and release it.  If I'm lucky it will be before Elder Scrolls 6.

Q:  Why do I need Apocalypse - Magic of Skyrim?
A:  Because, duh.

Q:  So how tough are the Dragon Priests, really?
A:  Pretty tough.

Q:  What exactly did you do to them?
A:  I don't want to give too many specifics.  Not knowing exactly what you're walking into is part of the challenge.  That said, here are a few details.  In the base game all DP's are broken up into either Fire, Frost, or Shock specializations, and draw from appropriate spell pools with little to no variation.  This is no longer the case.  While each DP still favors an element, I hand-selected specific spells for them, and wrote a few.  Then several received spells from Apocalypse.  I also changed/added quite a bit with their perks, to make them better able to use the abilities they have.  So at the end of the day, they can take more damage, dish out more damage, many are better at evading you, and a handful have some dirty tricks up their sleeves.  All Dragon Priests are not equal, even among the named ones.  Some will absolutely be more dangerous than others.  Its up to you to find out which is which.  Also, I absolutely do not recommend taking followers that are not essential to fight any named Dragon Priest.  Unless you want them to die.

Q:  The Dragon Priests are way OP now!
A:  The name of the mod is "Hell's Dragon Priests".

Q:  Its not working.  You suck DKhanno!
A:  Fix your load order.

Q:  Is this an ESP?  ESL?  ESP-ESL?
A:  ESP.  With the changes and number of them I made, I was not comfortable making this into an ESL or ESL-flagged ESP.

Q:  Will there be a Brimstone version of the Dragon Priests?
A:  Maybe.  If enough people want even stronger Dragon Priests, I can still do quite a bit within the limits of their AI to make them even stronger.  But for now I suspect this will be enough for most players.

Q:  Its still not working.  You still suck DKhanno!
A:  PEBKAC.

Q:  Who is the strongest dragon priest in this mod?
A:  Nahkriin. It seemed appropriate considering that Alduin trusted him enough to guard his portal to Valhalla,Sovngarde. If you're not using a mod that beefs-up Alduin, he will make a fine substitute for an end-game boss. Aside from Nahkriin, the DLC Dragon Priests will be particularly nasty
encounters. Otar the Mad is another strong competitor, madness can be infectious.

Since his Apocalypse - Magic of Skyrim has permissively permissive permissions permitting permissively permissive use I credit him here.  The Dragon Priests in this mod use several spells from that mod.
