About this mod
A quick patch for Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul and Eating Animations/Sounds, to make sure they play well together.

Just a quick patch I made to ensure records from Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul (CACO) by kryptopyr and Eating Animations/Sounds by NazeemUzeem work together nicely. Eating Animations relies on adding specific "Magic Effect" records to specific food items to ensure the specific animations play per food item, while CACO also adds/modifies the same kinds of records for the balancing/gameplay changes done in that mod. Via xEdit, I simply merged together (albeit in a manual and rather tedious fashion) each and every conflicting record, so that a user of both mods gets to experience the new and amazing animations from Eating Anims, plus the awesome gameplay changes from CACO.
How do I install this patch?
Just download the archive and add it to your load order, either through your mod manager or by manual means. The plugin's name is "Taberu Animations CACO Patch".
Of course, it's also a given that you need both of these mods installed first, to use this patch.
Load order?
Load this patch after CACO and Eating Anims.
Compatibilities
As noted by NazeemUzeem, Eating Animations is currently incompatible with other mods which overhaul how equipment is displayed on the character. This means mods like Ecotone Dual Sheath currently will disable the animations provided by Eating Animations. There is no current way to solve this incompatibility with a patch plugin, and NazeemUzeem will have to do that himself with how his mod is built (if at all possible).
You can use Eating Anims with mods like Animated Eating Redux, provided you disable that mod's Player Animations via the MCM.
Some additional notes
This compatibility patch was made for personal use, and only aims to resolve conflicting records between Eating Anims and CACO. However, this does not add animations to the plethora of new food and drink that CACO provides; there are simply too many records, and me making this patch was enough tedium already. I'd rather do other things, like mod development. If there are people who are willing to do this though, it would be greatly appreciated.
To add eating animation support to a specific food item, all you have to do is open the item record in the Creation Kit. Then add "aaaXXX_Animation_ME" as a new magic effect, with 5 seconds as the duration (xxx is the food item which you will choose). After that, add "aaa_cooltimeTaberenai_ME", with a duration of 6 seconds. That's it, no need to tweak anything else- the thing is, you have to do this manually for each food item, no batch record-applying, or copy-pasting.
There are also currently some animation bugs with the Eating Anim mod itself, which the author would hopefully resolve in new versions (like entering into a holding torch animation loop after eating something).
