Description
List of features, if it says optional it means disabled by default but you can enable in config file:
Improved targeting a lot, you no longer need to aim exactly on object or NPC to pick them up. Just aim in the general direction of object and it will pick it up, if the object is nearby you don't even need to look in the direction. Objects closer to where you aim will be prioritized.
You can pick up many objects, by default you can hold or throw up to 10 objects at once.
NPCs are picked up by the body part you aim at. If you want to lift someone by their right foot aim there, if you want to pick up by head, aim there.
Objects and NPCs flying to you or being thrown are a lot faster than before.
Holding objects and NPCs in front of you is a lot more responsive than before and doesn't lag behind if you make sudden turns.
Adds hotkey to allow dropping objects in front of you instead of throwing them. By default it's shift key. Good for finding loot or corpses in grass.
If telekinesis ends due to running out of Magicka the objects are no longer launched but dropped instead.
Disable picking up followers with telekinesis by accident (must be set to team-mate).
Adds two new spells to conjure and launch swords at enemies. You can also pick the swords up with telekinesis to reuse them if you wish. The sword spells can be bought from Conjuration teacher in College of Winterhold when you have high enough Conjuration skill.
Weapons held or launched by telekinesis will point forward.
Added a telekinesis variant spell that extends your activation reach so you can take items from far away or pickpocket or do other things from far away. You can also go through load doors from far away, because.. well that's not important right now.
(Optional) Make hotkey work in reverse so you need to press it to launch while ending spell in other ways will drop the objects in front of you.
(Optional) Allow causing telekinesis damage to thrown NPCs or causing a portion of telekinesis damage per second to NPCs held in your grip.
(Optional) Overwrite telekinesis spell cost with config file.
(Optional) Disable playing telekinesis grab or launch sounds.
(Optional) Disable annoying telekinesis label text.
Every option in the list can be disabled or further configured.
Requirements
.NET Script Framework
Installing
Make sure the framework above is installed properly.
Install this mod with a mod manager or manually. The DLL file from this mod should go here:
Data/NetScriptFramework/Plugins/
For the SKSE version the esp is still required and the dll should go in
Data/SKSE/Plugins/
The esp included in mod is required, but it's made into a ESL file.
Uninstalling
Uninstall with your mod manager or remove the files from above path.
Configuration
The configuration file is in /Data/NetScriptFramework/Plugins/BetterTelekinesis.config.txt and you can change a lot of stuff.
The new SKSE config file is in /Data/SKSE/Plugins/BetterTelekinesis.ini
