Estoc is a thrusting sword without a cutting edge that was designed for fighting against armored enemies. The weapon has a hidden effect of ignoring 50% of the enemies' armor rating. It can still be enchanted just like any other weapon without losing the armor piercing effect.
Obviously Estoc is not well suited for Skyrim's sword animations, but at least some finishing moves have thrusting attacks. It also works nicely with mods that replace sword animations with those of a rapier.
The weapon can be crafted at a forge and it is located inside 'Imperial' category. Crafting the weapon requires 'Steel Smithing' perk, as well as some steel ingots and leather strips. There are both one-handed and two-handed versions available.
