The Stormcloak army is victorious. With the fall of Solitude marking the collapse of imperial rule in Skyrim, every hold previously loyal to The Empire has its jarl replaced by one loyal to Ulfric Stormcloak and a permanent military presence replacing its guards. With this, the old banners of the traitorous holds have been torn down, replaced by Ulfric's bear standard, the flag of the newly-independent Kingdom of Skyrim.

What is this?
This is a simple texture edit I made for myself originally, which I did so in order to fill a small immersion gap I felt was left by Bethesda in the conclusion of the Skyrim civil war. It turns banners of previously Imperial-aligned holds into the flag of the bear, which welcome the presence of new Stormcloak guards.
This mod is aimed at players who have completed the Stormcloak questline following the Battle of Solitude. The imperial banners found in Castle Dour and other official buildings in Solitude are replaced with shiny new models by JDAnchor, as well as new blue/white bunting hanging in the market area. Since this is nothing more than a couple of textures, it will be compatible with any mod that uses the vanilla banner assets - such as Hold Border Banners.
What are my options?
Option 1 'Occupation' replaces the banners of the following, now Stormcloak-guarded holds:
- Whiterun Hold (Whiterun) + Dragonsreach
- Falkreath Hold (Falkreath)
- The Reach (Markarth)
- Hjaalmarch Hold (Hjaalmarch)
- Haafingar Hold (Solitude) + Castle Dour + Thalmor Headquarters
Option 2 'Kingdom' replaces the banners of every hold in Skyrim, regardless of their civil war alignment. In addition to the holds listed above, the following are also changed:
- The Rift (Riften)
- Winterhold (Winterhold)
- The Pale (Dawnstar)
Option 3 'Kingdom+' is identical to Option 2, but also replaces the banners of:
- High Hrothgar
- The Temple of Mara (Riften)

The Textures
Castle Dour in Solitude features new banners using tweaked textures from the wonderful Designs of The Nords mod by JDAnchor, all credit goes to them. The rest use the vanilla banner model found in The Palace of the Kings in Windhelm.

PS: I am not a texture artist or professional modder, I am simply sharing a tweak that I made for my own use, using textures that are not my original work.
