About this mod
This mod allows you to combine two regular gems at any smelter to create one flawless gem of the same kind. Can also split flawless ones in half for two regular gems via the smithing forge. ESL flagged .esp version available.

== What this mod does ==
Tired of all those plain amethysts clinking in your bag? Need something a little extra to finish off that masterpiece? Do you like to collect the shiniest of shinies? Whatever your reason, you want more flawless gemstones, and this mod can help get you there.
With this mod you can take any two regular gemstones and melt them down in a smelter to create one flawless version. There are a handful of other mods that accomplish the same goal as this mod – to convert regular gems into their flawless counterparts. This is my take on how to get there and is as straightforward as it gets. No extra ingredients, no craft A so you can craft B. No scripts, altering perks, or adding new items to your already cluttered game. Just take two normal gems and throw them in the smelter.

Do you need/prefer quantity over quality? I've got you covered! Take any flawless gem to a forge and beat the shinning daylights out of it until it crack in half, granting you two regular jewels.

As a bonus, to reduce the clutter in your smelter menu the recipes will only appear when you have the prerequisites (2 of any one kind of gem) present in your inventory.

This mod shouldn't require anything beyond the base game.
== Compatibility ==
Should be compatible with 99.9% of mods out there. Honestly don't know what could conflict with this.
== Installation ==
Use your favorite mod manager or manually drop the mod file into your data folder. You have the option of downloading the mod as an .esp or an .esl flagged .esp (which won't take up a mod slot in your load order). Only choose one.
== Uninstallation ==
Remove via your favorite mod manager (if installed with one) or manually remove the mod file from your data folder directories.
== Updating ==
I would recommend making a clean save by uninstalling the current version, loading up your game, saving, then loading that save after installing the latest version of the mod. That's just if you like to err on the side of caution. I'm no expert, but I would think everything should be pretty safe since there are no scripts being used and the mod does not alter any existing game assets, but you never know...
