Changelogs
Version 1.1.1
Correctly allowed the ability to not install the Believable Weapons patches.
Version 1.1.0
Fixed specular colour on the Amber Warhammer
Added Believable Weapons patch
Why overhaul Amber?
Let's get it clear first, I think the amber items look sort of ok as is. In reality, however, real amber is rarely opaque or without impurity, so I have employed multilayer parallax to add that extra depth and detail that I would expect to see.
What does this mod do?
Preserves the general colour and feel, with the exception of optionally changing the green parts.
Adds depth to all amber meshes.
Has additional patches that apply this effect to amber items from other mods for the sake of consistency.
ESP-less and can be installed/uninstalled at will.
What doesn't this mod do?
Change any stats/loot etc, since there are no plugins.
There are also a few extra patches available for Skyrim Extended Cut - Saints and Seducers, Katana Crafting itself and One-Handed Warhammers that were made by someone else, which you can find here:
Other mods that edit amber meshes and textures will likely conflict with this mod, simply load this mod after any other armor overhauls to benefit from this mod's effects.
