About this mod

In an obscure forum-RP by the writers of Morrowind titled "The Trial of Vivec", Vivec makes a reference to wearing his "water face", which made it impossible for him to lie. How do we know he was telling the truth? Simple: He was wearing his Water Face when he said so. Duh.

Elliot is a fucking nerd.

AHEM.

So we all know Morrowind writer Michael Kirkbride was allegedly on drugs when he wrote at least a good chunk of Morrowind lore. While it's likely not true, it is simply too funny to imagine THIS man as sitting on his floor popping more magic mushrooms than the Telvanni and writing about how the two-toned demigod lover of Molag Bal (yes, really) used the latter's penis as a spear/sword to kill Indoril Nerevar and cause the creation of the Dunmer as a whole due to spurning Azura (yes, REALLY) only to use the same spear to banish Azura from Mundus forever. (YES, REALLY

(I mean who cares if he was or wasn't doing drugs? If you think I come up with any of my weird shit sober, I have a beautiful verdant timeshare on Red Mountain to sell you.)

Fun fact on that last part: during an obscure forum-RP referred to as "The Trial of Vivec", the eponymous Vivec is called to testify and explains that he is wearing his "water face" (whether or not this is a reference to Waterface, the successor band to Grey Daze featuring none other than the late great Chester Bennington is unclear, but I get the feeling Vivec would definitely listen to early 00s grunge if it had been around during the 3rd Era) which makes it impossible for him to lie. This is accepted as empirical fact.

What the hell is "water face"? I mean Vivec has said some weird shit but even for him this seems like a total asspull. So after a totally sober conversation with some buddies on Discord and recompiling every single script in Skyrim Special Edition, I took it upon myself to make a mod to bring the power of Waterface to you, the Dragonborn.

What does this mod add? ("I mean that's what this space is for you slack-jawed guar-fluffer. You're supposed to tell users relevant data and instruction, not ramble mindlessly about things you think are funny in a vain attempt to be noticed by your peers. God, Squidfest, I absolutely despise you, your writing style, and your absolute lack of modding talent! I hope your save gets corrupted, you absolute skeever-prostitute!")

This mod adds a spell. There we go. Four-ish paragraphs in and I have told you what this mod does. I'm getting better, I promise.

What this spell does is make you put on your Waterface. What? You don't know what that means? Well, it applies a series of magical effects that a god such as Vivec could wield. Are you up for the test?

EDIT: Okay, so let me tell you what the spell does. It's a power that gives you greatly augmented speechcraft and barter for 20 seconds and makes you semi-translucent and hinders your movement by 50% for 10 seconds. The explanation being, of course, that water is see through but also less motivated to move unless it's to burst from my fucking toilet at 3 AM and drench my entire bathroom in piss and shit.

Features a leveled-list injector script like a big boy modder that I totally did not plagiarize from a reddit post.

Please attach an image of your toes along with any bug reports or I will personally come to your house with a trained gibbon named Fremont who will throw grapes at you. Not hard or anything. Softly. But then there will be grapes everywhere and that'll be like annoying I guess.
