Changes:
Done:
- Simplified inventory names;
- Cleaned up the crafting recipes;
- Added perk and crafting requirements (overall slightly cheaper in ingots than normal boots);
- Fixed tempering;
- Tweaked and streamlined the stats for both versions (less weight at a cost of 1 armour point and a slightly reduced sell price);
To-do/Known Issues:
- Learn Blender to improve the feet meshes and textures (volunteers are also welcome);
- Both versions can be equipped at the same time under certain conditions;
- Port to Anniversary Edition.
Requirements:
- "RaceMenu High Heels" or equivalent;
- "HDT High Heels Fix" by Ousnius.
Compatibility:
- Incompatible with digitigrade mods that change the actual feet, plantigrade mods work, but the textures may misalign, and make the mesh pitch black in some areas (the 4 Male/Female screenshots were made with Grimoa's Plantigrade Feet mod activated for example, and I didn't even notice that until later. Khajiits actually look even better with that mod than the default textures, now that I think about it);
- Works with body morphs, resizing legs below the knees is possible, but not recommended.
Installation:
Manual.
- Drop the "Data" folder from the manually downloaded archive into your "Skyrim Special Edition" folder, overwrite if asked to;
- Activate "Digitigrade Boots Set" in "Mods" section of the Main Menu;
- Enjoy, "Iron [Race] Boots" should appear in your forge crafting list straight away, as well as the ones you have smiting perks for.
Mod Manager.
- Press the "Mod Manager Download" button;
- Install and/or enable in your mod manager;
- Enjoy.
