HAPPY LITTLE TREES - PATCHES
Happy Little Trees by T4GTR34UM3R is one of the best tree mods you can find, performance wise, it is great, animations are excellent, and if you haven't tried it yet you should. It's been in my game for a while and I've noticed a few things I wanted to change, so I went ahead and edited some stuff which I reckoned you would like to try also.
There are several file options for you to try:
Reduced saturation tweak for the pines. The original texture saturation is ideal for vanilla Skyrim and reduced saturation ENB's, but my own ENB is quite colourful and reducing the saturation helps the pines blend better into the landscape, and feels more immersive on my setup.
Autumnal Pines
Yellowish pine foliage for an autumnal setup.
Green aspens spring
A fresh vibrant green leaf texture suitable for for spring/mid summer.
Green aspens high/late summer
Less intense with the the odd faded leaf and tones harkening towards the end of summer.
Aspens "Ginger Pumpkin"
A rich orange aspen leaf for an autumnal feel

You need the original mod, then use the files from this mod to overwrite
