- Changelogs
The items are based on the canon image of the Nord Male Dragonborn - as seen in game trailers, concept art, merchandise etc - recoloured to match, and the pauldron moved to the right shoulder.
In this 'Deluxe Edition' I have chosen to add a full armoury of Dragonborn Steel weapons, inspired by the latest Dragonborn 1:6 Articulated Figure by PureArts.
Items include:
Cuirass of the Dragonborn
Helm of the Dragonborn
Gauntlets of the Dragonborn
Boots of the Dragonborn
Shield of the Dragonborn
Sword of the Dragonborn
Dagger of the Dragonborn
Bow of the Dragonborn
Battleaxe of the Dragonborn
Greatsword of the Dragonborn
Mace of the Dragonborn
Wax Axe of the Dragonborn
Warhammer of the Dragonborn
Amulet of the Dragonborn - Uniquely enchanted
Ring of the Dragonborn - Uniquely enchanted
(Chests also include a handful of Destruction and Restoration spells to aid the mages)
A complete uniquely enchanted weapons and armour set can also be found on top of the Throat of the World - 'A Gift From Kyne'. Discoverable once you are able to reach the summit.
All items (apart from the 'Kyne's Gift' set) are craftable and temperable with the Advanced Armours smithing perk (Daedric and Dragon smithing perks for tempering the 'Kyne's Gift' set) and should all be found under the Steel smithing category. The standard versions are all unenchanted, free to be enchanted by yourself, if you so wish. All armour pieces are complete Heavy or Light armour sets, so you can finally use those perks whilst looking the part!
I have matched all the items so that they have the same base stats of Ebony (Heavy armour and weapons), Glass (Light armour), Daedric (Kyne’s Gift Heavy armour), Dragonscale (Kyne’s Gift Light armour) and Dragonbone (Kyne’s Gift weapons), because they are the weapons and armour of THE DRAGONBORN! Ysmir, Dragon of the North, The Last Dragonborn, Dovahkiin! An armour and weapons set to be used throughout a whole game, start to finish, and without being too over powered. The unique enchantments on the ‘Kyne’s Gift’ set have been tweaked a few times before official release, and I am now happy that the values are slightly better than what you would naturally find on items in the game elsewhere, but without being ridiculously overpowered.
The crafting items were chosen to reflect what may have been used to make them.
A mod that was well overdue!
I started creating this mod for my own game last year and it has been on and off in the works ever since, but I have finally got round to fine tuning this and I believe this to be the final piece. Please feel free to share your thoughts. Thank you and enjoy!
(Only males supported so far. Primarily created for the canon Nord Male, and my own game. Females will get standard textures and meshes at the moment. I will make the armour available for Females and Beast Races properly one day. Apologies for the wait. Screen shots are taken with Rudy ENB for Obsidian Weathers).
