Overview

Mod utilizes a small script that runs once (at game initialization) to equip head and arm bandages to a curated group of NPCs. Currently, bandages are equipped to:

  • The Wounded Soldier and Sickly Farmer in the Kynareth Temple
  • Thalmor and Stormcloak Prisoners (random encounter)
  • Imperial and Stormcloak soldiers at a 20% chance. Civil War, etc. This % can easily be increased, decreased or eliminated in the _DISTR.ini
  • *NEW* (2022/08/09) Escaped Prisoner, Firir, Frightened Woman, Lokir. The Escaped Prisoner is an unused asset in the game. He can only appear by using the console command. I gave him bandages anyway, and in case other mods use the asset.

The main mod will always distribute both the head and arm bandages no matter how distribution is configured (e.g., female, male, level, faction, voicetype, etc.). I have also included syntax to distribute bandages to all NPCs (ActorTypeNPC). This syntax is for modders and others who wish to have bandages distributed to other groups. However, this particular syntax is disabled initially and needs to be enabled in the _DISTR.ini (by deleting the semicolon in front of the particular syntax).

*UPDATE 01/09/2022. I have uploaded an optional file that will distribute either the head or arm bandages, not both. The optional file will always distribute either the head or the arm bandages no matter how distribution is configured (e.g., female, male, level, faction, voicetype, etc.).Pick one file.

Compatibility
Highly compatible with most setups, and with most other mods.
  • Spell Perk Item Distributor (SPID) does not edit levelled lists, and does not modify or generate new records.
  • Body slots, however, are not compatible. Choose wisely, or edit the body slot. I will not alter body slots.
  • Clipping will likely occur depending on setup. I will not resolve clipping issues.

Installation and Uninstallation
Use the mod manager of your choice to install. Or manually. To uninstall, remove with mod manager. My understanding is that SPID will not impact save games in any way. Safe to uninstall at anytime.

Configuration
Huge number of configuration options available. Please see Article for more information.

Caveats, Recommendations, and Extensions
  • File fully standalone. Be sure to thank SEEYOULHATER for the terrific mod and endorse Wearable Bandages
  • Children do not have bandages
  • Head bandage covers either the left or right eye randomly
